Thought I'd make a new thread ready for tonight's episode...we've managed to fill the first one already!

JEEZ - I’m a bit behind. But the Josh / Melissa segment was just awful. She is a full-blown abuser. Poor lovely Josh. My heart was breaking for him. I’m so glad he can finally leave. She is bloody awful.

Sad sap alert but I cried watching Josh so utterly broken. I knew it was happening (accidentally saw spoilers) but to see it live and just see how he'd shut down and how unrepentant Melissa was, I honestly wished I could take that away because I know how it feels.

Melissa has some kind of personality defect to choose THAT moment as some kind of deflection and have the audacity to then say 'well he's a great guy'

(Also I'd marry Josh in a heartbeat 😂)

Yeah, my tv info button told me that the experts stepped in on the decision with two of the couples.

I can't help but wonder why Melissa got off so lightly in comparison to Lizard Man ...🧐

Caitlin is an amazing woman. She carried herself so well during this experiment.

I'm also glad John pulled up Harrison and Shannon on their BS. I felt like I was watching a proper therapy session. They should have done the same with Mel, who's been abusive and controlling behind closed doors.

My heart broke for Josh. He's a good one.

I would love to see footage of all the girls together (minus Mel) discussing what Mel said to/about Josh tonight

I think their vetting process is so flawed that they can't have returning brides and grooms. Harrison, Shannon and Melissa are all abusive If it didn't work a second time, they could sue.

Caitlyn and Shannon remind me of Lara and the dickhead she was placed with. Both the women can do loads better.

Ugh. Do we really need two new couples coming in? There are already so many that some are getting very little air time.

They have done it before - was it Lizzie that was brought back in the next series?

I thought Caitlyn alluded to coming back in when she said about wanting to do it again with someone else

I am done with Bronte after that. She's confirmed she's only there for the blue tick, so whatever. Harrison can have at it.

Thought the ixperts let Harrison off lightly as regards Dan. Shame Sandy didn't get the full picture as they knew it.

Melissa must be ruing the day she applied for this, what an utterly appalling, humiliating show of herself. How does she face anyone IRL after all these scenes?! It almost makes me feel sorry for her.

Glad to see the back of Shannon, was getting all annoyed at the prospect of another blue-Tick-whore staying on for the sake of it!

Harrison and Shannon lack empty. They should screen for that better. I guess they can't do diagnostic testing, otherwise Harrison would have flagged up as a narc. I think Brontë has given up and is just there for the publicity, which I find very questionable. Caitlin has much better ethics than her.

The worst part is that Melissa has a child. Abusers always need someone to abuse. I don't believe she has the insight to understand what a shitshow she made of it. She told Josh he should have told her how hurt he was. like she was going to listen. All whilst she controlled and abused him. He was already broken and as the abuser she would have controlled him in a way that makes him reluctant to speak up. That's literally how abuse works. Silly cow.

So much drama! I really wish they'd thrown Harrison out. When they asked Bronte if she trusted him, I could see the insta deals dancing before her eyes. Idiot. I loved that she took everything Sandy said - about not putting up with someone who took a girl's number - as a personal criticism.
The Josh and Melissa segment was awful. Melissa seemed to get an easier ride than Shannon and Harrison. I wonder if that's because the boys were more public in their abuse so it dragged everyone else in.
It was interesting that at the dinner party, the boys were all about having Shannon's back but when he left tonight, none of them went after him.
Fingers crossed they bring Caitlin back with a brand new shiny, kind boy who will fall madly in love with her.
As for Claire in the preview, I feel like that meme - 'we were all rooting for you!'

Poor Josh. Melissa STILL made sex her prime topic of conversation. She really doesn’t get it. Ah well. It was annoying the sex expert didn’t comment. Really their intimacy week needed Melissa telling that sex in a relationship involves two peoples needs.

Love that the girls, minus Melissa, all seem to have each other’s back in this series. I love how they group hugged Caitlin.

Caitlin has been very iffy imo. But she really does have integrity and she really held it together and spoke eloquently. I felt like a proud friend/sister/mum.

Shannon can go fuck himself.

Yeah they didn't even call Harrison out. At least not what made it to editing. It's going to get worse I can feel it. Now Shannon isn't there to take the air time at least.

Shannon was so sulky, angry and unrepentant. His mouth became more like an anus with each question John fired at him.
