We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently nearing the end of series 4 of Spooks but have agreed to take a short break after this series to go back to our first love - Our Girl and the consensus was to view series 2. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

Molly is volunteered for singing duties.

I like this bit with the stars and the chats with Smurf and CJ.

Poor Molly, I don't think singing is really her forte. I did like that scene though where she duets with CJ at the end.

Love the little chat. CJ seems to be tuned into Molly's thoughts. He calls her Dawsey and I think he knows he is in a tiny bit of danger there.

CJ wakes Molly up in her tent. The plan is to take Bashira away and into a safe house. Afghan Social Services are on hand to assist.

Wait for it.................

Bashira has been found, but now we discover what has happened. Everyone is moving away. That is a shocker!

It certainly took us all by surprise that first viewing.

Molly just ignores everyone and goes to Molly. She just feels so much empathy. It's heartbreaking.

Her comes the ATO to defuse the bomb. He looks so scary (I've watched Bluestone 42 a lot!).

CJ sounds so panicked.

They snatch her and run and then the bomb goes off.

So tense. Even though I have seen it countless times I was still holding my breath tonight. I think Lacey Turner's acting there was splendid

CJ needs his eye washing out. You can just sense the chemistry now. No you don't get emotionally involved. Hmmm, that doesn't last long, does it?

Yep, he certainly does get emotionally involved - soft fools indeed.

Every time I hear this song (I mean, the one with Elton John and Kiki Dee), it makes me think of this scene.

Ah, Don't go Breaking My Heart - I couldn't if I tried - CJ fancies his singing ability. Lovely wink. Gosh I loved the tunes in this series. It adds so much.
