Okay is there any possibility that this is all setup? Beginning to wonder if ratings where down and we're all being worked here. Probably not but just seems so far fetched atm. Still watching though 😂

I haven't watched eps in full but have done in depth online analysis of other people's opinions lol. I am starting to doubt it now as well. Certainly it was not the shock that everyone was making it out to be.

Has Ariana ever commented on Tom's claim that they had already broken up? Although not much a defence considering it was going on so long.

But it was clear that he had checked out. The stuff about him not leaving the party when her grandma died was so awful.

Tom overall seems every weird this series. I always had a bit of a soft spot for him due to him reminding me of someone in RL (his good bits) but he seems cold, unhappy and very, very off. Does he have drink/drugs issues?

I do think these eps have been totally re edited to make it the focus, rather than set up. Wonder how dull it would be when you look at all the other non stories.

There’s a bit in this Ep at the camp thing where they laugh about how hilarious the idea of rumours is. Because Raquel is such a close friend to them both it was like nah that’s laughable.

It’s clear from this ep their relationship was very rocky. The convo at the end about her grandmas funeral…

it’s interesting to me because clearly Ariana was aware of the rumours, so it’s not the blindside that they thought it was.

Tom definitely is trying to set the scene for breaking up with Ariana post-filming so he could re-emerge with Raquel at a later date. Basically exactly what he did with Kristin. I just don’t get why or how Raquel could have done that to Ariana.

OMG!! They are both so fucking hard faced! Raquel is so sly and Sandervol, I have no words.

I CANNOT wait for the finale next week.

I find the busier I am at work, the more I crave absolute junk like SS, RHOBH, VPR… clearly my brain can’t take anything high brow!

Watching tonight I realise I actually don’t like any of them. I seriously do not like Lala’s mother. She seems like a nasty person. I couldn’t imagine my daughter having that sort of a conversation with me. We looked at each other and said, “Yuk”. I’m also not a fan of people calling each other bitches!

I was a little confused - did Tom stay at a party when Ariana was home alone or was she away ?

I don't like Lala at all. I find her really unpleasant and hypocritical.

Essentially, Sandoval was at a beach party with the whole group, when Ariana called him to say her gran had died and could be come home and support her. He told her that he was getting a lift and would come back, but then lied and said his friend who was giving him a lift had gone home and he couldn't get home.

He then changed the story and said he thought she wanted to be alone, even though she had literally asked him to come home and be with her

I think he had just checked out of the relationship. He only wanted to be with Raquel, but he was too much of a coward, hiding behind Arianas depression and grief. Clearly he didn’t want to be the bad guy and wanted to make her be the one to pull the plug so he didn’t walk away the guilty party.

Totally agree. She is very good looking, but has traded on this. First with Emmett and then with James. She doesn’t take responsibility for her behaviour, blaming alcohol and other people. She loves being the centre of attention and most people seemed to enjoy hovering around her, I think it’s because they are afraid of how she would react towards their going against her wishes.

It’s like a MN thread. ‘My partner of 10 years stayed out partying when my gran died. And lied about not being able to get a lift. And then changed that story.’

I see what you all say about Lala. I find her strange. Sometimes I really like her, other times I think shes a real bully.

I do find that she is quite accountable in that she will openly admit when she gets carried away and has overreacted. She admits she has flaws. But I don't like the way that she minimises her actions on others. For example on her podcast shes talked a lot about words vs actions, and how it doesn't matter if she's telling people awful things, because her actions might say something different - but not everyone feels that way. I do think she can be quite cutting and hurtful with the way she talks to people.

To be honest, I know that Raquel is a bitch for what shes done to Ariana, but the way she's been treated by Lala and Katie for literal years has been nothing short of bullying. Look at the way they treated her in Vegas.
