Yes but then the actor playing Trixie and the actor playing the Vicar split up, at the same time as the actor playing Matthew broke up with his real life partner, who hasn't ever been on Call the Midwife, as far as i know.

I'd also just like to see it go back to being a woman focussed programme where women don't need to be rescued by Dr Turner or Lord Aylward or Random Man.

She is also doing the King and I again next year, maybe it affects filming dates.
