Has anyone in the villa this year not been nasty when challenged? Can't really remember anyone who has kept calm

Jessie.

She hasn't been nasty at all

I'm just starting to watch tonight's episode but has she had a proper falling out with anyone? I mean you have Will at movie night but I mean just generally falling out with someone?

Goodness - the look of ill suppressed joy and intent on Olivia’s face at the end … Shock

It really will not be fair on viewers / voters if she (because Maxwell won’t get a say) is allowed to choose a couple not in the bottom 4. Kai and Sanam would regret being filmed making declarations …

Tubofroses · 02/03/2023 06:08

Jessie hasn't been nasty but whilst having the villa gang up wasn't pleasant I think there is some truth to what they're saying. She says it sweetly but during casa especially she was laying seeds for people when she had no intention of exploring options herself. I think she also knew talking to casey would also cause issues but as she spoke nicely to him it didn't seem like she was stirring anything.

So funny when Olivia finally goes she still has the power no one else has had to choose a couple to go!

Zampa · 02/03/2023 06:54

I still think it's got to be Claudia and Keanan to go. They're a friendship couple and Claudia can't bear to be around Casey. It would be a kindness for Claudia to be dumped now.

RadioactiveWear · 02/03/2023 06:55

Olivia is so spineless and 2 faced. Jessie confronted her in a group and she said she didn't see why they were talking about it in a group. so Jessie says do you want to talk alone Olivia says no, then walks off.

The following day Olivia says if she is pulled for a chat by Jessie, she'll tell her straight.

Now Olivia is sending someone home. Well at least we don't have to put up with her anymore and that spineless puppet Maxwell.

Twonewcats · 02/03/2023 08:01

So, from the past couple of polls, the producers have seen how unpopular Liv is, despite their best efforts.
Then, "coincidentally" we suddenly see the big episode calling her out on her stirring (which was seemingly never a problem for any of them before) AND gave her a chance to clear the air with Jessie before leaving.
It's all so contrived, it's mental.

Lampzade · 02/03/2023 08:21

Don’t understand why Will was pissed off with Shaq. Shaq wasn’t really involved in all the gossip

Zampa · 02/03/2023 08:28

Shaq did call out Jessie for interfering on Movie Night, which might be why @Lampzade?

Andi2020 · 02/03/2023 08:35

If Claudia/Keenan or Casey and Rosie ho there will be no drama left unless Will and Jessie start so out bottom 4 now Shaq and Tanya to go as she was annoying they are not genuine especially Tanya.

TheMagicofWinterLight · 02/03/2023 08:40

It isn't Jessie's first time at the rodeo. I think she has studied all the seasons of Love Island UK and figured out the winning formula. Attach yourself to a popular male that the public is rooting for (a bit of an underdog). Be devoted to him. There needs to be drama though (otherwise no air time) - maximise potential drama (off again, on again) but in such a manner you remain hero of the story (devoted, betrayed, unsure, hopeful, devoted).

Be a girls girl and promote strong, powerful, independent thinker vibe. Insert yourself into every storyline if possible (to get airtime).

In short; Girl meets boy, they are besotted, boy betrays girl, girl devastated, can she's trust him ever again?, brave baby steps, couple reunite, supportive to everyone, redemption arc complete, win show.

Rollergirl11 · 02/03/2023 08:43

It is galling that Olivia had the power to send another couple home. As someone else said above what would be the sense in allowing her to choose someone not in the bottom 3 and instead one of the potential winning couples? Like what is to be gained by the show with her doing that?

rockingbird · 02/03/2023 08:53

Disappointed Liv gets to choose, Maxwell will get no say or course! Delighted she's going but I'd have preferred it if the voting just struck out the bottom 2 couples to make it fair. If she gets to choose any couple Kai is out I suspect. If it's the bottom 4 sadly I think Claudia and Keenan will go.

Yes, I agree
I think that the others are beginning to sense this, which is why they are calling her a fake

TheMagicofWinterLight · 02/03/2023 09:18

And I respect Jessie for this approach - it is a TV show that can lead to great success afterwards (if you play your cards right). A contestant puts a lot on the line when they enter this show. If you are going to do it, make it work for you.

XelaM · 02/03/2023 09:21

Martin (who I think had them all well-sussed) was asked who the biggest game player in tgere is and his response was "Ron. Everything he does is for the cameras".

Exactly. And let's not pretend they are there to find true love rather than fame and fortune. ALL OF THEM.

Twonewcats · 02/03/2023 09:59

Beautiful OVIE is on Tonight With Target tonight <3

vjg13 · 02/03/2023 10:09

Surely they have to choose a couple from the ones in the bottom?

vjg13 · 02/03/2023 10:11

I really want Shaq and Tanya to go after all their "journey" is complete!

Slightly premature new thread. Apologies for causing confusion 😬

I really don't agree with this. She is quite quirky but I think she's a typical Australian woman in some respects. Australian women are generally more supportive of each other.
