I have a theory and would love it if there's any Australians on here to correct me if I'm wrong...as an English person, I can immediately tell that Will is a bit camp/geeky by the way he talks. If I went to Australia I would not be able to tell the nuance in accents apart at all.

Could it be that because Jessie is Australian she doesn't see / hear the campness that all the English girls do, so it's allowed her to fall for his fun personality?

Dont get me wrong, I love it. She seems genuinely nice and I'm so so glad that Will hasn't turned into a Dr Alex / Hugo character because I think he's a sweetheart.

Curtis got into a couple with Maura even though everyone knew he was gay. After leaving the villa and getting their deals, he came out as gay/bi.

Will is more camp than anyone else who has been in the show but nobody is saying anything. I thought Jessie didn't recognise it. I was in a relationship with an absolute idiot from The Netherlands for two years. He'd never had a Dutch girlfriend. It took me to years to realise why as I kept telling myself it was a cultural difference whereas the Dutch women had him sussed immediately.
