I’ll start it then.

Will he return to heap more misery on Scarlet?

snigger I like the Major. "I brought my son up to take responsibility for his actions".

doctorsnoddy · 02/03/2023 13:57

I don't think Sid should be getting involved in this...

Binglebong · 02/03/2023 13:57

Pretty sure harming yourself to get out of the army isn't allowed either.

doctorsnoddy · 02/03/2023 14:00

So is Nina trying to get them to take her son on as a trainee? I don't think they know how GP training works!

Princes MKII
Revenge of the trainee.

doctorsnoddy · 02/03/2023 14:12

Surely they can't take him on without meeting him? If he's anything like his mother it'll be a disaster

Binglebong · 02/03/2023 14:14

FFS just say no!

Raahh · 02/03/2023 15:57

Only just catching up.

Nina really is pushing it. Surely it's not so east as 'my son is wonderful- give him a job' .

I'm not sure Daniel is keen. I think he feels rail roaded. I would.

And the Ollie stuff just gives Kirsty ore opportunities to moan.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:01

Pushy parents day today. The cricketer's mother is obviously trying to live through her daughter.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:04

And suddenly Kirsty is mother of the year- when really she would have been happy to send Ollie back to the army.

I also didn't understand getting Sid round. if Ollie is desperate enough to break him own foot in the first place, I'm not aure what talking to drippy Sid will do.

Oh- so Ann isn't her mother she's the coach?

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:06

Why is Zara so desperate for Nina?
Listen to Bear- Nina is demanding a job for her son before she has even got the job there herself.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:13

Kirsty has worked in healthcare how long? - she must know that Sid is not his doctor, and can't get involved. The longer she is around, the more I wonder why they were raving at how good she was at her previous job!

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:15

Well- Ollie can go back to the army- but he's not exactly going to be able to do much.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:18

Nina wants a contract for Suni already??!

Zara is part of the problem here- where has her back bone gone, she doesn't usually let people walk all over her.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:19

How did Ollie 'do a runner'? He's on crutches.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:20

Rich is an idiot.

doctorsnoddy · 02/03/2023 16:48

Sounds like you enjoyed today's episode Raahh

Raahh · 02/03/2023 16:58

doctors Grin

There was not a single likeable person involved, anywhere. Grin

And I'm worried about Zara having too much time on her hands, (if she steps back from the partnership) - and joining the PTA or something where she will really piss everyone off Grin

Binglebong · 02/03/2023 17:35

I think I have it figured! Nina's son signs the contract and is legally The Mill's problem then Nina drops out of the partnership! She was in it purely to get him a job. That explains why he is in future credits and she isn't.

Raahh · 02/03/2023 17:41

Bingle it sounds plausible. Grin

Maybe once he's 'in' , Nina will drop the fake accent, and reveal her true colours.
She was obviously not liked where she was previously. I bet they had a party when she left.

There's something dodgy about her, I'm certain.
Or it could just be terrible acting. Grin

There's always that conundrum with Doctors 😂

The army AWOL storyline and Nina muscling her son into The Mill sight unseen, are both utterly stupid. The scriptwriters are definitely trolling the viewers.

that's the thing isn't it- the bar for 'decent acting' is set quite low on Doctors.

Maybe Wendi thought hamming it up was the way to goGrin

Raahh · 02/03/2023 17:56

Surely there are processes they have to go through before a 'doctor' just turns up?

Although they did give Eeeeesh the job as the nurse- purely on the say so of Mandy, who just met her in passing at a surgery at the Churchill.

Getting a decent job in Letherbridge is clearly really easy. Not sure why FakeBadBack Brian had such a problem- he could have got a job at the Mill without anyone checking him out.

Ouch - harsh but true.
Please be reassured that there are better selection processes in real life!

Raahh · 02/03/2023 18:17

doctors Oh, I am sure there are Grin

Doctors makes all the hard stuff look easy- getting a good job, moving/buying houses, deciding to take over a pub- they just make decisions over lunch Grin
