How is Lincoln in "The North East and Yorkshire"?

EsmaCannonball · 02/02/2023 20:05

I used to complain that the presentation was more important than the food on this programme, but now if someone hasn't built their own space rocket and dressed as Queen Victoria being serenaded by the actual Duran Duran then I feel they haven't made the effort.

I had the same complaint - it’s East Midlands!

BigFatLiar · 02/02/2023 20:08

If they get through can they source all these different mushrooms for the banquet. You don't see lots of lions mane mushroom in the veg section at tesco.

EsmaCannonball · 02/02/2023 20:10

Joe Sugg = annoyed me immensely on Strictly.

Unfortunately these days I've no idea who most of the celebrities that appear on these sort of programs are.

My cat gets pig heart. He never says a word. I don’t grate it though

Wolfcub · 02/02/2023 20:13

Leek fireworks

littlbrowndog · 02/02/2023 20:16

The guests must be there all day

lettingthedaysgoby · 02/02/2023 20:16

How are they supposed to produce that many living mushroom boxes for the banquet?

Sunbird24 · 02/02/2023 20:17

Are they supposed to eat the ones round the outside as well?

littlbrowndog · 02/02/2023 20:18

My middle toddler loves soup dragon 🫤🫤

Andie said there was a grater in each box to grate fresh mushroom onto the dish. The guests seemed to like it.

littlbrowndog · 02/02/2023 20:21

Dignity to mushroom’s. Lol

EsmaCannonball · 02/02/2023 20:22

Dignity for mushrooms. I'm already a vegetarian. If I start having to respect plants, there'll be nothing left for me to eat.

BigFatLiar · 02/02/2023 20:25

The Paddington fish course, without the Paddington hat you'd never get the reference, it's just a fish dish.

EsmaCannonball · 02/02/2023 20:25

To quote Paddington: Where's the effing marmalade?

Sunbird24 · 02/02/2023 20:25

Plaice allowed to breathe? Would have had to stay in the water for that!

Sunbird24 · 02/02/2023 20:27

If you’ve already got Tom who understandably can’t have shellfish, why would you also have a guest that doesn’t eat fish? It makes it so much harder for the chefs

littlbrowndog · 02/02/2023 20:27

Love the way they help each other

EsmaCannonball · 02/02/2023 20:32

My least favourite guest judge, Tom Aikens, told a chef off one year for allowing the other chefs to help him plate up. It just made him seem like a total knob.
