Will kind of has the look of a young John Leslie from some angles to me

I think he looks like that bloody annoying posh comic who takes his dad on things

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:29

Yay will 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Noooo! He doesn’t look like either of them, bless him. He looks like a young version of my mate Angus, ok?
😁

Sunbird24 · 01/02/2023 20:33

Ooh, oven malarkey! 😂

Wolfcub · 01/02/2023 20:34

Jack Whitehall, yes that's the fellow

EsmaCannonball · 01/02/2023 20:36

I think one of the problems I'm finding with this brief is that for the dishes to really cut through they need to be based on something iconic, or at least something that everyone will have heard of.

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:38

Yeah like Harry Potter or Ronald dahl

Sunbird24 · 01/02/2023 20:40

Oh I used to love playing Worms!

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:43

Tail of a comet. I love this stuff

EsmaCannonball · 01/02/2023 20:46

I think at the banquet the guests need to immediately recognise what the dish is referencing without any explanations.

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:48

Cmon will where’s the drama 🤦‍♀️

Wolfcub · 01/02/2023 20:53

These look amazing

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:54

Now that is drama 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Sunbird24 · 01/02/2023 20:54

Fab idea with the balloons, and hooray for a Quentin Blake/Roald Dahl tribute

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:54

Great pudding

EsmaCannonball · 01/02/2023 20:54

The peach dish is fun and immediately recognisable.

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 20:55

It’s a ten

EsmaCannonball · 01/02/2023 20:59

It was my favourite dish so far, but a 10 for a dish that was still a tiny bit frozen in the middle? Hmm.

littlbrowndog · 01/02/2023 21:00

For me you could see that pudding in the final. It’s so recognisable

Sunbird24 · 01/02/2023 21:01

I had to duck out - who’s gone?

YouknoweverythingJonSnow · 01/02/2023 21:52

Not impressed with the brief at all....do you think they've been told to score high to keep us interested?!

Can't wait for misery Tom tomorrow 😂 Great contestant, had such a sour face as a judge last year!

Stellaris22 · 02/02/2023 12:42

I alway find myself thinking that chefs haven't considered mass catering when tweezering on tiny leaves.

Or creating some fancy effect to go with the food.
