I just don't get it. She was beautiful and outspoken and honest. She called Tom and Olivia out on their BS instead of pussyfooting around them like everyone else seems to do. I really liked her and the guys in there definitely didn't deserve her.

Yep she is so annoying. I was Team Zara too! I see the producers have got their favourites and she wasn’t one of them. A character like her shouldn’t have gone so early.

Zara was abrasive and borderline aggressive (you could see the "WTF" looks on the faces of the other Islanders). So I'm not surprised that no-one wanted to choose her. There isn't a Teddy in the Villa

She was really aggressive and didn't listen to anyone. She was SO keen to tell Olivia that Tom had kissed Ellie - the smug look on her face was painful. I'm no fan of Olivia either but I think Zara was mean and smug - I'm not surprised no one wanted to choose her !

It shouldn't have mattered that no one chose Zara. Previously thar hasn't been a problem. Just send her on dates with newbies. I'm sure that will happen with other single girls this year.

Shaq is growing on me because he's sticking up for the girls.

I contacted mumsnet and asked why my comment had been deleted. They explained their hands were tied as it had been reported. They don't check the threads personally and if ANY post is reported regarding somebody's appearance it will be deleted. So a lot of this thread would disappear. Personally I think comments about things people can't change, their actual physical appearance (there have been many) are far worse than mine. Wig glue, lashes and extensions etc, are all things people have chosen to use and hopefully might sort out at some point.

Making a jibe about a black woman’s wig glue is what I believe is known as a “subtle act of exclusion” against a minority group. That’s what I was uncomfortable about and I’m glad it’s been deleted.

I like Lana and am glad she's looking a bit more cheerful in first look. Shaq and Tanyel are lovely and I also like Ellie, glad she stayed. I agree with whoever said Kai always looks like he's got toothpaste or yoghurt at the corners of his mouth, weird. He might be right about Ron and Tanyel thogh, they do look very cozy together. I still think Tom is kind of OK, he's not gone beyond flirting with anyone and hasn't promised much to the girls who keep saying they're interested in him. He's just not quite playing the same game as the others and it might cost him but it might not if there's always a single girl around who wants to try her luck with him. Ron can get in the bin, I'm bored of his lame explanations.

@CellophaneFlower I agree FWIW that there is a distinction between commenting on nails, false eyelashes, extensions, fake tan, wigs and someone’s physical characteristics like weight, facial features etc which are things that can’t be changed.
