Starts here in Oz 30th January so thought I'd give everyone a heads up if you're watching in real time with us.

In case anyone needs a reminder this will be the spoiler/up to date thread. Someone else can start the UK pace one.

That was a mixed bag, wasn’t it? They should have made that in two episodes so we saw all the couples. And how dare they not have Harrison and Brontë on the couch?! That’s what I was waiting for. I’m really going to miss it.

I wanted to see them show Cam giving Tayla a cuddle on the retreat and ask 'who is putting pressure on you to be affectionate here, then?'... I was waiting...but it never came.

Has anyone listened to the podcast with Ella and Dom from last year interviewing Harrison?

My main take was that he was in talks to be the next Bachelor and they took a different route and offered him MAFS as a consolation prize.

Harrison would have loved 30 women competing to 'win him'

I bet producers didn't want either of them to speak any further at that poimt

Makes sense.

I had my drama-llama head on watching it earlier, but I think, on reflection, we'd seen enough of his bullshit. There was nothing to be gained by giving him any more of a platform or any other opportunity to try and twist things on Bronte.

It was so sad watching the montage of Jesse and Claire. Watching it all in one go like that said it all. Harrison throwing in the grenade and blowing the whole thing to shit when it was beginning to heal, but still raw and fragile. No words were really necessary. If anyone watched that and didn't see him for what he is then I can't really help them.

Much better to have left it at them all laughing in his face over dinner.

Well quite a dull end to the series. Would have liked to see all the couples look back at their "journey" thank goodness for the dinner party and the Harry take down!

I read that a lot of the couples weren't shown or even interviewed as their 'story' had played out on the show and there was nothing new to add. Apparently Harrison and Bronte were just bickering about the same
stuff again.

Harrison is a bit legal trigger happy though. He's looking to sue a podcast that accused him of gaslighting and being emotionally manipulative. Love Chris and Dave repeating it on their podcast but stating they'd also like to add the word bellend.

Finally getting round to the last couch session.....

I am SO grateful that Hugo threw Dan under the wanker bus, how dare Dan have the audacity to start at him like that. And YES Sandy for calling him out on staring hugo down.

I strongly suspect we didn't see Bronte and Harrison as mentioned earlier due to a) Harrison not liking his edit and wanting to take legal action and b) the legal action Bronte is/is planning to take - according to her messages to her mum they had kept her locked in a room until she changed her mind to write stay and all sorts of things. She was kept away from the others so she had not moral support. It all sounds particularly shady and does somewhat explain her rabbit in the headlights expression at times. I don't think we've heard the last of it.

Tayla was classic Tayla. I actually think she enjoyed saying "hasn't been explored yet" and getting the gasps. Also on her, apparently she never was a nurse. She had only just got registered, so not sure how it works in Taz, maybe she was a healthcare worker whilst studying but not a nurse.

Not sure why Clare was going to Perth - don't think that worked judging from what I've seen/heard?

In Australia to study as a nurse you have to do quite a few lengthy placements, it's not just studying. But a lot of the cosmetic places use nurses for the injections so...... ??!

I'm actually considering watching I'm a celeb Aus! I love Ayesha from below deck and I want to see if Dom's inner mean girl comes out (I caught that she was saying someone on MAFs voice was triggering which was rich considering Dom flipped over marfa saying her voice was awful...and at the time I was on Dom's side, so disappointed to hear that). Not sure why Geordie Shore Nathan is on there!

I hope Duncan and Evelyn do get/are together. She was so grounded and direct I think they'll thrive together. Can't envisage any screaming matches or pettiness.
