This is wrong on every level and shows the extent to which the victim is still deeply wounded, vulnerable and still being gaslit. It's not positive. Accepting abuse only shows you are being abused, there is no great love story or positivity. This is exactly what the abuser wants you to think.

I'd find that really disrespectful tbh!
If I'd gone on the show to find my "the one" and then a few weeks later he was being told to share a bed with someone else? I'd feel so uncomfortable being told I had to share a bed with someone else too. They said it's to recreate real life but I've never been forced to share a bed with another man before. I've always had a choice.

Gosh, most of them are pretty awful aren't they. I wish they would go back to casting real people rather than people in it for the instagram. Jules and Cameron are happy as larry. There was another couple that had a baby ( though I think they've split but at least it was real) And maybe another couple. These 20 somethings who " can't find love' are just an embarrassment. And when they do an older couple they pick the strangest sex-obsessed woman and put her with her complete opposite.
Also sick of them pairing people who live in completely different states. They do that every year. Just stupid. Australia is huge. You don't just do a 5 hour drive from Sydney to Perth. That's pretty much the flight time.
And while I'm ranting - the male expert gives me the severe creeps. Always has.

Same! In some very shallow and horrible moments of reflection I think this expert, when shown on the remote Teams meeting type clips looks utterly wasted, as if he's been busy on the whack pipe.... All I can think of is what would he look like minus the veneers and toupee. I hate myself for thinking this though.....

@SliceOfCakeCupOfTea actually you are right, and on reflection my comment of things getting good is totally wrong. Given some of the toxic characters in there, and I think we could guess some of the pairings they will choose, I wouldn't be that happy being sharing a flat with them let alone a bed. I think it does show how little this show is about finding the one - for the productions/ixpert side as well as for walking dicks like Harrison.

I am just sitting down to ep 25 and wondering who will even be left to so the swap....

I've never liked John. Why would anyone in all honesty pay him for his relationship counselling? I always though being on this show is a bit of a death knell for that kind of career. Remember one of the original ixperts (Trisha) left a few years ago as she wasn't happy with the way things were going.

I cant' remember how old her child is - if they are really young then I just don't think she should be on here. I'm not saying she should wait til they're 16 I just don't think taking yourself away from your kid from an extended period of time is going to put you in the best mindset.
