And Catherine's retiring on Thursday

I can’t quite say the words but I hope Sally hasn’t, you know what, to Katherine!

DuncanBiscuits · 22/01/2023 22:08

I really fancy TLR 😳

sandgrown · 22/01/2023 22:08

FGS it’s a drama . I thought it was incredibly tense and TLR looked so good .

Supersimkin2 · 22/01/2023 22:08

All these leapfrog escapes in the linked papers are quite cheering. Faith restored in Sally.

If I ever get arrested I’ll just spring over the plexiglass and scarper.

WhatICallMyUsername · 22/01/2023 22:09

Just finished as I was a bit behind. Because I like to nit pick why was it dusk with street lights on as he cycled off if it all kicked off at 1.55 🤪

TotheletterofthelawTHELETTER · 22/01/2023 22:09

I loved it. Would have preferred a Line of Duty “urgent exit required” type of breakout but still….

WhiskersPete · 22/01/2023 22:09

For anyone who is interested, have a listen to recent Comfort Eating with Grace Dent interviewing James Norton on Spotify.

I just couldn't believe he is the same person who plays TLR! Such a nice, posh bloke. Clearly a fantastic actor!

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 22/01/2023 22:09

Faisal seemed empowered by having murdered Jo. In the first episodes he was highly strung and pushed around, now he's revelling in the fact he's graduated to being a proper hardman/murderer.

Zippedydoo123 · 22/01/2023 22:09

An excellent episode tonight!

Paleshelter · 22/01/2023 22:09

Oh my good Lord, my heart was racing throughout the episode. Didn't think he would be able to escape. Also those poor children losing their mother. I hope they end up staying with the grandparents.

Ha! I thought that as he cycled away. Clearly not lunchtime after all.

TLR wants revenge on Catherine and that would be the worst way to enact it.

The pharmacist is very chill all of a sudden, maybe he’s popped a pill?

He's put himself straight with the Tweedle Boys. Got rid of Jo and framed her husband . . .

Tulipp · 22/01/2023 22:11

Even the bit where he got his hair cut was gripping.

TheaBrandt · 22/01/2023 22:11

He’s basically escaped disguised as my dh

LizzieSiddal · 22/01/2023 22:11

really fancy TLR 😳

Get in the queue!🤣

TokyoSushi · 22/01/2023 22:11

I've been on 10 minute delay. OMFG!!!!

I fancy James Norton but I'm a bit Envy at so many people fancying Tommy Lee.

Yuck.

We said that. Also, as soon as that alarm sounded TLR would have been handcuffed and taken back down to the cells. No way everyone from the public gallery would have been leaving.

That said, it was really tense. Some great lines tonight too. My money's on Ann being instrumental in stopping TLR and Alison will play a part.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/01/2023 22:12

It was thrilling

Chemist very chilled for killing jo

Her poor daughters

I love wankertron

And yes silly not to have guards everywhere. Even By front door

Emotionalsupportviper · 22/01/2023 22:12

<casual>

Whereabouts do you live? (Asking for an hormonal ole trout)

singleandwingingit · 22/01/2023 22:12

The bit when he looked at the public gallery and didn't even notice Becky's Dad... to me highlighted what an evil narc TLR is.

PrincessScarlett · 22/01/2023 22:12

Faisal is so smug. He's definitely been empowered. I hope he doesn't get away with killing Jo.

alchemies · 22/01/2023 22:13

Bloody hell, it's a bit of a doddle escaping from Leeds Crown Court. The only way they could have made it easier would be to have placed a mini-trampette in that dock. I'm guessing in real life there may be a bit more of an armed police presence when someone with TLR's background is transferred to court.

I knew that Neil wouldn't be dodgy when the Nisa branding was given such prominence. There's no way they were going to allow themselves to be associated with drug-dealing and money-laundering.

I found the horrible PE teacher really compelling and intriguing in the first episode but, unless they find a clever way of integrating it with the rest of the storylines, it's coming across as filler.

The Knezevics are another weak link. At the moment they are cartoon villains and not that convincing.

Strange to see Andrew Tiernan not playing a psychopath or weirdo. He and Susan Lynch were really disturbing together in Cracker.

One of my predictions (ok, I've made about 300), is Richard dying while trying to stop TLR from taking Ryan. Tonight's events are making me think I could be right for once.

Did Catherine's boss once win a lifetime's supply of Sugar-Free Polos? He always seems to be sucking on something when she's having a word.
