Genius idea putting some reality tv people in their too, they’re already schooled in TV manipulation!

Alan Cumming, amazing actor (if in any doubt watch My Old School, his lip syncing is faultless) He’s no Davina tho, playing it like Macbeth! He waltzes in and out but he hasn’t yet shown much empathy.

Just started too and the characters are real nasty and way too personal. It is entertaining watching them with their theories though. I think the traitors are quite tactical tbh. More than the UK anyway, but I'm only on episode 4.

I reckon they're pretending that they are sleeping at the castle. I think they were staying at separate places for the UK one to maintain secrecy. It might be hard for a traitor to sneak back to their room if they are all under the same roof!

I've still got a few episodes left.

For some reason not finding it as engaging as the UK one.

I just k low in the UK one I was on the edge of my seat a few times- when we found out what's her name was that guys girlfriend.

Laughing my arse off at that guy who was saying- he could read people- but we all saw he was completely wrong.

John making what's his name cry, even I was finding it difficult to breathe when that guy was having a panic attack.

I just dont feel this series so far has had that many high stake, melodramatic moments.

I am finding Kate funny though!

I preferred the uk one mostly due to the threads and discussions in the office with fellow fans.

But this one, couldn't discuss with anyone really as no one at sane place. And I could all 10 right away anyway.

Just finished it and enjoyed it, although I fast forwarded the tasks.
Fair play to the winner / winners ( dont want to give anything away) they played a great game.

I like Allan Cumming but Claudia was better. Allan just camps it up! Because the American's are already reality tv stars, it felt less 'real'. That cowboy guy got on my bloody nerves but I preferred the ending to this series to the uk series.

I'm not enjoying it after loving the UK zone, but really really love the Australian version!

Claudia played it a s presenter of sorts, Alan and the Australian dude played it as the owner of the castle... interesting.

Just finished watching. I enjoyed all the bitching and backstabbing. Preferred the UK one by a mile. I had far more empathy with the uk contestants.

Just finished it and it was good but again I didn't connect to the characters like the UK one. Might just be because they're UK citizens so feel more real and relatable. Australian one felt distant and not that close to home although by the end I did have a few contestants who's characters I really liked. US one no connection at all to any of them but I really enjoyed Kate during the episodes she was in.

Where can I view the Aussie series please? I thought it funny that Kate is really pissing people off but dispute several attempts they can't seem to agree to vote her off. She survives by one or 2 votes each time.

Does anyone know why US series got more money than UK one?

The last two episodes were amazing!

Interesting how they changed a few things in the tasks. I wonder if it was because they thought they didn't work first time around ( whichever was first) or aiming at a different audiences. For example not getting rid of two people immediately in the first episode.

Just watched the final episode. Hats off to the winners/winner.

Loved Kate in the barrel task. She ended up being my favourite candidate overall I think. Amanda was my favourite in the U.K. version which I preferred.

As a scottish person myself (born in and living in Glasgow) Alan Cummings accent is annoying me so much. It's like he's putting on a scottish accent even though he is scottish. Makes no sense at all and sounds fake....a bit like Scotty from Star Trek or Mel Gibson in Braveheart....its cringe. Every time he says the word "trrrrrraitors" with the overly rolled Rs I want to throw up haha I really hope Americans don't think we speak like this in real life lol
