There must be SOMETHING worth watching?!

I like police/crime and medical dramas (prefer American to British). I like
things such as Grey’s, Criminal minds, Chicago PD/ fire, Law and Order etc. (I haven’t mentioned them all but have watched most including spin offs).

I loved things like Castle too. I also like things like Silent Witness, Death in Paradise. I don’t mind crime based either e.g. I loved ‘For the People’. Shame to was cancelled after two seasons!

Ive already binge watched all 7 episodes of the new Waterloo road.

Nothing new out seems to be capturing my attention. There must be something I haven’t seen or is worth a watch. I have Netflix, Disney+, Now tv and Prime.

Everything I’ve tried this side of new year has been dreadful (Knives Out, Kaleidoscope, Happy Valley, The Light in the hall) have all been dreadful.

Hoping someone will have something that’s worth a watch!

On Disney:
Under the banner of heaven
Candy
The patient
Dopesick

Some of best TV I have watched all year is on Disney

On Disney+ I’d recommend:

The Old Man
The Patient
Only Murders In The Building

Agree with lots of above
But a new one I've just finished and I don't think mentioned yet is Marie Antoinette on BBC prime - really good if you like a period drama!
Which brings to mind Harlots (on Prime) - amazing

Loads already mentioned and also Person of Interest and White Collar.

You 100% need to try Bosch on Prime.

Just finished season 7, excellent police drama.

I also second the Madam Secretary and Good Wife recommendations. (I am a massive Greys fan). Presume you've tried the Greys spin offs, Private Practice and the Station 19?? Not Greys but watchable.

You need to go on to Bosch Legacy now. I love the books too.

Bad Sisters
Slow Horses
and
On Murders in the Building
were the best binges for me recently

Can I also add Kleo on Netflix

set in Germany after the fall of the Berlin wall

think Killing Eve but with an actual plot

absolutely loved it and I’m surprised no one is talking about it.

creamcoffee · 06/01/2023 07:13

Deutschland 83 was excellent

Elementary is an American Sherlock Holmes procedural on Prime.

Bones is very enjoyable. It's either on Disney+ or Prime, can't remember.

Sparklfairy · 06/01/2023 07:19

I love Power on Netflix. You have to look past fastforward the excessive violence and some of the sex scenes are one step away from full on hard-core porn, but the plot and cat and mouse makes up for it.

PuttingDownRoots · 06/01/2023 07:25

London Kills (iplayer)

MarshaBradyo · 06/01/2023 07:28

Happy Valley is brilliant

Dopesick incredible and Succession too

SmokeyPaprika · 06/01/2023 07:30

Slow horses is also on Apple
A Spy among Friends was good but not really crime

Struggling to find anything atm.

Jewel1968 · 06/01/2023 12:06

Those that recommend The Old Man can I ask is it worth finishing. I loved it initially but found it got too complex and have stallled. I have been very sick recently so it might just be me.

JaneJeffer · 06/01/2023 12:08

Have you watched The Newsreader? It's good

Lillygolightly · 06/01/2023 12:21

The Patient on Disney was very good.

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 06/01/2023 12:24

I’m only on episode 4. Must admit I am starting to reach the point where things are getting a little confusing and I’m questioning the motivations
