There must be SOMETHING worth watching?!

I like police/crime and medical dramas (prefer American to British). I like
things such as Grey’s, Criminal minds, Chicago PD/ fire, Law and Order etc. (I haven’t mentioned them all but have watched most including spin offs).

I loved things like Castle too. I also like things like Silent Witness, Death in Paradise. I don’t mind crime based either e.g. I loved ‘For the People’. Shame to was cancelled after two seasons!

Ive already binge watched all 7 episodes of the new Waterloo road.

Nothing new out seems to be capturing my attention. There must be something I haven’t seen or is worth a watch. I have Netflix, Disney+, Now tv and Prime.

Everything I’ve tried this side of new year has been dreadful (Knives Out, Kaleidoscope, Happy Valley, The Light in the hall) have all been dreadful.

Hoping someone will have something that’s worth a watch!

There is a new show called Light in the Hall on channel 4 which looks interesting. I think they have put the whole box set on.

planefullofotters · 05/01/2023 21:58

Without a Trace on Amazon

mnahmnah · 05/01/2023 22:01

Have you watched Scandal?

I have the same taste as you and I’m currently enjoying Yellowstone

Veryfishy · 05/01/2023 22:02

WeWereInParis · 05/01/2023 22:10

The good wife
Madam Secretary

CampervanKween · 05/01/2023 22:37

Slow Horses I love. Just finished series 2.

Reacher on Amazon also fab.

I love Sneaky Pete as well.

And Goliath other than season 3 which was awful.

Code Black

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 05/01/2023 22:44

You've watched The Sopranos I take it?

IWasFunBeforeMum · 05/01/2023 22:47

The Serpent is ace, the capture on BBC was also great.

midsomermurderess · 05/01/2023 22:48

Tokyo Vice is not bad, and The English, both on iPlayer.

midsomermurderess · 05/01/2023 22:50

Smother is also good. It's Irish.

No! You thought Happy Valley was awful?! I love it and it’s one of my top rated shows.

This ☝️This is the first negative comment I have heard about Happy Valley.

It has won BAFTAS and all sorts. It’s a fantastic series and Sarah Lancashire smashes it as does the supporting cast.

I loves it I do.

You 100% need to try Bosch on Prime.

Just finished season 7, excellent police drama.

I also second the Madam Secretary and Good Wife recommendations. (I am a massive Greys fan). Presume you've tried the Greys spin offs, Private Practice and the Station 19?? Not Greys but watchable.

paiop · 05/01/2023 23:40

I forgot to say 7 seconds is on Netflix.

We also enjoyed slow horses.

I am noting lots of these recommendations. I have seen and enjoyed several

Selok · 05/01/2023 23:46

Our tastes seem similar, Jack Ryan three seasons in Amazon pretty good. Lincoln Lawyer also very good. Have you watched sense8? It is brilliant not a new series but definitely recommend! Like yourself, I can't find anything solid to watch now, only started Ozark per my friend's recommendation- not sure yet

piano789 · 05/01/2023 23:50

Rip tide channel 5 is very good!

Oswin · 05/01/2023 23:51

Have you watched The Blacklist? It's on now TV.
Also the recruit on Netflix is good.

MissPoldark · 05/01/2023 23:53

The Old Man on Disney. Jeff Bridges plays the lead.

if you have Prime The Rig starts tomorrow which also looks really good.

FfeminyddCymraeg · 05/01/2023 23:55

Bad Sisters on AppleTV is really great.

MissPoldark · 05/01/2023 23:57

Also Stonehouse on ITV

But The Old Man sounds right up your street if you enjoy American crime thrillers

PaniniHead · 05/01/2023 23:57

The Teacher (Netflix).
New Amsterdam.
Chicago Fire.
The Good Doctor.
Madam Secretary.

2bazookas · 05/01/2023 23:59

Mayflies. Have a hanky ready.

I've been a fan of Silent Witness but the latest new series is unbelievably awful.

Just rewatched Tutti Frutti; a bit dated but still very funny.

FirThusThraed · 06/01/2023 00:01
