It is capped you only get child benefit for two children - the law changed I know as work in this field

@Sumthingsweet

according to google and guv website

Child Benefit can help you with the costs of your children. It's usually paid every 4 weeks. If you're eligible you'll get £21.80 a week for your first child and £14.45 a week for any children after that.

There’s no limit to how many children you can claim for

You're wrong. That's UC/tax credits. See my previous post

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/01/2023 20:23

Child benifit isn’t capped but uc allowance for more than 2 kids are if born after 2017

If you're already getting benefits for more than 2 children you'll continue to get those benefits. You won't be paid an additional amount for more than 2 children, unless the children were born before 6 April 2017 (on or before 6 April for Income Support) or special circumstances apply.

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:26

clear enough

@4thonthe4th
Classed as rape if she consented?
Oh ok
I didn't know that

A 13 yo child can’t consent to sex.

Jesus Christ. Rape apologists make me sick.

That's for UC/tax credits. Not for child benefit. I literally took a screenshot and attached it.

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:28

Uc allowance is different - it’s 255 per child and again only 2 children that’s the child element which is the new umbrella benefit for tax credits - you cannot get both if in a Uc full service area . Uc allowance is the standard allowance per person

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:29

No need i process the applications so I know 🤣

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:29

But up to you to believe whatever you want

You're wrong re child benefit. It's so worrying that you don't know the difference between child benefit and universal credit.

@4thonthe4th
I was 15 when I met my partner
He is 20 years older than me
But
30 years later and 5 kids
We are still together
And
He definitely never raped me

Sorry, but ewww. What does a 35 year old see in a 15 year old?

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:31

But back to Noel and Sue they do seem like a nice family. Good luck to them

UC is different from child benefit. There is no limit to the number of children you can claim child benefit for

www.gov.uk/child-benefit

My screenshot is from here. You'll See it says "there is no limit to how many children you can claim for."

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:33

Lol why are you worried ?

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:33

Ok if that’s what you want to believe

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:13

No, you are wrong. You get child benefit for ALL children no matter how many you have. It is other benefits that have been stopped for any children born after 2017.

Other benefits are limited to 2 children. I believe family tax credits and, possibly, universal credit

strumpert · 16/01/2023 20:34

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:33

Lol why are you worried ?

Because you're claiming to process child benefit claims and you're denying people money they're entitled to

purpleme12 · 16/01/2023 20:34

@Sumthingsweet isn't reading the screenshots so there's no point arguing with her

Yeah right do you process the applications. You are totally and utterly wrong as others have pointed out.

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:36

Why would I claim such a thing if it’s not true and what facts say I have denied anyone lol seriously no point arguing with you 🤣

Sumthingsweet · 16/01/2023 20:39

Benefit is not an entitlement
