New thread for new series

obviously all this has happened in the past year

they would have been better filming this as it happened and showing it

as we have seen all their trips on Facebook and instagram if on it

E 1 - Chloe’s pregnancy takes a worrying turn

A big part of the problem is that they're just not that interesting, beyond there being loads of them. Normally I'm a big group of teens you'd find some would be witty, some might be quite knowledgeable about things, some would be very sporty or have an interesting hobby - it would generally be reasonably entertaining to watch and hear them talk about their opinions and stuff. The Radfords don't appear to have any of that - if they do, it certainly doesn't come across on tv. So in the absence of being able to just film them all interacting, they have to stage dramas instead.

Towntroubadour · 13/02/2023 16:29

Thought the episode was awful. Given the current climate it just seemed really tone deaf as it looks like next week the kids are sending Noel and Sue on a luxury holiday.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2023 17:23

Just watching now

60p a head. That tray wouldn't feed more than 6 people so surely would need 3/4 trays

Yes the modelling was so set up

Not sure what Jake does for a job normally

But welcome to the wide world of having a baby young and no savings Chloe

The electricity was insane. £50 every 2/3 days

So 600 a month

I couldn’t get over the facts they were apparently shocked that running 2 tumble dryers all day would be expensive

rwalker · 13/02/2023 18:22

Oh and the electric shower they showed wasn’t electric it was a mixer valve they feed off hot water system

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2023 19:21

The light bulb debate. Bless him. All bulbs aren't on for 24hrs a day

And takes a child to say let's play a game for all of us

Yes it does. It’s the same as we’ve got in our en-suite. The program is completely fake.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2023 21:01

And next week the children all arrange an anniversary present

Assume they pay for it as well

yes I noticed that too.

Belledan1 · 14/02/2023 22:39

I bet they do pay as you go electric as they probably use the cash from the bakery daily so don't go through books. I agree how cab they give budget advice.

purpleme12 · 14/02/2023 23:37

At this audition or whatever it was for modelling,
Chloe and baby were just round the corner where you could hear baby!

MyOldFriendTime · 14/02/2023 23:40

That's because it was a total set up. Channel 5 probably paid the model agency to faff around with Chloe's boyfriend. In real life as soon as they saw he wasn't at all confident he would be out on his ear.

I could, they're not blessed by genetics in that respect

PenelopeTitsDrop3121 · 15/02/2023 12:25

The tide is definitely turning on this family. About time too 🙂

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/02/2023 22:02

E7

their anniversary

the kids decide they deserve a break away from them

don’t they always go away lol

OP posts:
OutofControl3 · 18/02/2023 23:39

Yeah its a load of crap. Everything you watch from them I'd rubbish be real lock ur kids in room like the hood old days

OutofControl3 · 18/02/2023 23:41

Like they didn't know about holiday couldn't even do a night away in Blackpool on there on mind

Mrsdragonfly · 20/02/2023 08:44

Whilst I think in theory it all sounds very sweet but considering the amount of holidays they have it’s utterly tasteless and is going to offend a lot of people. “Special couple” my arse. Aside from having loads of kids I’m not sure how they’re special to be honest.

MuddlingThroughLife · 20/02/2023 11:08

So last week they were complaining about the price of utilities and this week they're in the Maldives, a holiday most people can only dream of in their lifetime.

Whole programme is bullshit and scripted to the hilt.

2anddone · 20/02/2023 11:49

What got me was all the crap about leaving the children and being worried. Surely if you were that worried you would go away for a couple of nights to london or paris where you could get home relatively quickly rather than sod off thousands of miles away for a week or two!!

WiltingLobelia · 20/02/2023 12:36

I honestly did not understand the odd methods to get the youngest child 'off the boob'. Pickles and duct tape? All I could think was 'ouch-stingy' and 'ouch-ripping off hurty'.

I did not bf though so those sorts of recommendations escaped me.

Limer · 20/02/2023 13:26

LOL at the spreadsheet of the duties for the children! Clearly devised and written by a member of the crew, because Heidi is spelled correctly!

Double LOL at “the kids have organised everything” – errrr, no, everything has obviously been planned, scripted, and more importantly, paid for by C5.

How come Noel was teaching Luke how to cut the pastry? Luke’s worked there for ages.

Why on earth was Sue consulting the internet for ideas on stopping breastfeeding, she’s an expert, she’s already done it for twenty other babies! I’d love to know how long Sue breastfed all the others for. A few weeks for most of them I guess. She was always wanting to conceive again ASAP.

“Just me & Noel on our own Castaway island” – what about the film crew Sue?

Mrsdragonfly · 20/02/2023 18:18

And the drama surrounding the cut on the top of one of the kids heads. I don’t think they’ll be many more TV shows if this is the type of rubbish they’re churning out.

TheFairyCaravan · 20/02/2023 20:07

Last night’s episode was all such crap.

Sue did an Insta poll to see if they should go away, then she said that Noel had surprised her with the holiday to the Maldives. When they vlogged it they said they’d dropped the kids at school, took Heidie to Chloe’s and it was daylight outside.

In the program they pretended Sue went to her mum’s, while the kids had a meeting. When she left she was in wide legged jeans and there were slippers, in the hall, from the hotel in the Maldives that they’d not yet been too. When she got to her mum’s she was in skinny jeans, apparently because she spilt something on them 🙄. How convenient she keeps a spare pair in the car, hey?

They must think everyone came down in the last shower.

louise5754 · 21/02/2023 00:12

I know Heidie was going to Chloe's but I wondered who would look after Bonnie, Pheobe and Archie. I know they have Katie , Ellie and Aimee but they might be studying / working etc.

How could you possibly relax? 1 or 2 nights in the uk would be better during school holidays.
