Let me guess... lots of schmaltzy photos of the "childhood sweethearts still together after all these years", no mention of their ages when they first got together.

Probably using collecting their cases as a reason to go!

I'm pretty sure the airline could return the bags without them having to collect in person!

I'm sure their target audience (to begin with) was probably large families and fairly modest income families, their image was based on him working hard in their own bakery and them carefully budgeting and making savings to fund having this many children. (Even in the first episodes I struggled to compute how 1 person working ft - unless extremely well paid- could cover the basic living costs of 17 or 18 people plus pets)

I imagine almost all their income is from TV and YouTube, Instagram etc as he seems fairly pt at the bakery, their lifestyle would be unobtainable for majority of families even with both parents working ft and 2 or 3 kids.

The trailer for the next episode is Max talking about the cost of living crisis and wanting to help the community and at the same time these two have gone on another unnecessary trip abroad.

They obv aren't struggling for money due to the billion of holidays ......

Feels like they’ve run out of content. They’re not your average family now. They can afford significant luxury that most people can’t and there’s no way to dress that up to make it relatable to most people.

Nothing makes sense in their programmes.
A couple of years ago they did one that covered lockdown.

The narrator talked in grave tones about how their finances hung in the balance and how times would be super tough as the pie shop had to close, they would literally struggle to put food on the table....

Then a few min later in the sane programme they had a garden makeover, an outdoor bar and a hot tub.

The next year they took on the lease of the new pie warehouse and refurbed it all, and said how that was going to be a stretch and a big financial commitment.

New series they're talking about moving house, building a house, going to Disney, moving to Florida etc etc!!

I struggled to watch tonight, listening to them talk about how they need to cut back because of the cost of living, Noel cooking a meal that costs 60p per head and knowing how many holidays abroad and away in the camper they have had this year really left an uneasy feel with me. I used to enjoy watching but tonight's editing made me feel they are totally patronising and taking the piss out of their viewers.

Yep it really was patronising especially considering how many holidays they've been on this year!! Their priorities are all wrong!! Hf of the children look malnourished so they should prioritise feeding them decent meals over holidays. Dentists too.

Is Noel ever at the pie shop now? Plenty of time to time the children in the shower!! Again, prioritise basic hygiene needs over holidays? Just an idea.

You could tell the shower timing was a total set up! No way would my teenage daughter get out of the shower if she still had shampoo in her hair and she definitely wouldn't be laughing about it!

The whole thing is a set up even down the the house running out of electric. Wouldn't be so back if they could act. Hasn't this happened before on another of their programmes? All getting a bit boring now 😞

I'm pretty sure they had a story about a power cut at the bakery and they were meant to be delivering an important order somewhere, in a previous episode?

Last nights episode wound me up. It was so tone deaf. They sandwiched a “we’re having a hard time paying the bills” episode between one where they rushed off to France to give Josh some confidence and next week’s where they’re going to the Maldives. It’s absolute rubbish. I don’t know how people can’t see through it.

This series we’ve seen a luxury swimming pool be delivered, a 26 person holiday to Florida, (and we know they’ve already been to Florida that wasn’t filmed this year), a motor home purchase. They’ve been looking at land to build a house that they don’t need to sell their current house to purchase for, too.

Add in everything else they’ve done that hasn’t been filmed and we’re supposed to believe they panic about the cost of living. It’s absolute rot.

I've never seen this show and only just stumbled over the thread as I was looking at Telly Addicts for something else. I know about the Radfords though from the countless media stories on them.

When I first read about them many years ago I thought good on them, working, not claiming benefits or anything. Now, I think they are shameless grifters, selling their kids and family for money. I even think that this is why they have had so many younger ones recently, to keep the cash rolling in. Doing endless reality shows is not work, it is just a glorified form of getting (very generous) benefits.

They don't work as hard as many of us do, and from what I have read on the thread, there have been just too many of them to parent them properly.

It's really just shameless. They're like Katie Price, Kerry Katona and the rest who flog their kids. That horrible woman with the child called Honey Boo Boo from years ago.

They shouldn't be on our screens passed off as entertainment.

It doesn't make sense that they're struggling to afford basics (budget meals, 2 min showers, calculating the cost of turning a light on) and working out how to save pennies when they could save thousands of pounds by cutting down on luxuries eg going on one less holiday or not buying a hot tub?
They've always said they didn't hand down clothes, and bought a new pram with each baby - 2 other ways to save money without having to skimp on meals or showers!

Agree with everybody on here! What an embarrassingly tone-deaf episode. The Radfords aren't poor and have never been poor. Scorning hand-me-downs and buying a new pram for each new baby is proof of that. Not to mention their conspicuous consumption since they've been famous.

I fast-forwarded through Jake's modelling attempts, FFS the bottom of the barrel must be scraped dry by now. 22 kids but they resort to showing us one of the boyfriends learning how to pose for the camera.
