Just started watching. Have only heard of Johannes and Penny

How can they make an apron like those if they have never used a machine before - not getting that.

An apron was the first thing I sewed at school. We did embroidery round the pocket. Herringbone stitch

I really enjoyed her book. It was written just as she speaks though so it wasn't a polished piece of writing. I loved reading about her h and could hear it in her voice.

Me too! I remember it well - I pick the thinnest of cotton that didn't even come close to protecting any clothing it was worn over! I had a sugar pink pocket with an applique red heart.

I think Johannes could have this too.

I love this! DDog is sulking as I’m ignoring him for once. Penny seems so down to earth, which surprises me a bit. Such nice, happy TV.
