Hopefully Raahh can post on this one.

Nearly time for the Christmas cliffhanger!

Here we go!

Raahh · 04/12/2022 09:25

Madison you are a star! Grin Than goodness for tha- i thought I was going to have to Shock give up on the Doctors thread (and the tennis thread were having to put up with me talking about it there Grin).

I have no idea what happened though, it only affected the Doctors thread. Maybe it was because it was quite long (clutches at straws).

Raahh · 04/12/2022 09:27

I wonder what he cliffhanger will be? Princess leaving would be great, I think Val being found out might be to quick a turn around (but stranger things have happened)
So, probably a massive disappointment, because there will be extra missed episodes due to unforeseen schedule changes, and it will just end randomly. Grin

LilyAndTheKing · 04/12/2022 16:23

I feel a sense of unease whenever Val appears, it's so out of character for her to blatantly commit a criminal act. What happens if the little girl dies due to adverse side effects?

Also, if a drug is that expensive I'm sure the pharmacy would check with the GP before dispensing.

Raahh · 04/12/2022 16:52

Lily it's very worrying, and I'm sure there will be consequences. Hopefully not for Al though- how will he prove he didn't sign it? Though Val is not really the type to watch someone else to take the fall, if they do come looking for something dodgy, surely? (plus, Al has always been pretty good to Val).

They dragged out the whole Sutton Vale thing for months though- so I bet they do sort this one out by Christmas Grin.

When does it finish for Christmas?

MadisonAvenue · 04/12/2022 23:53

When does it finish for Christmas?

Just had a look on the BBC page and episodes are listed up until the 16th.

Glad you’re able to post Raahh

I’ll probably be doing catch up on episodes this week, my husband’s got the week off.

They were really playing up Val and Al's friendship just before she did it - I think this will end it. ☹

Raahh · 05/12/2022 07:25

I did read that Sarah said her last episodes are in 2023 - not that that means much, since this batch ends next week Grin- her last episode could be the first day back in the New Year, for all we know. Prescription fraud can't be brushed under the carpet, so it could be soon. (I'm still not over them getting rid of Donna Grin for what she did with the patient notes- and that was pretty mild, going off what has happened since !).

Regulars will know I have not always liked Val Grin (to put it mildly) - I couldn't stand her when she started, but I have grown to like her her, and the programme needs her now especially since they changed Karen's character- who used to be a bit more light relief, but ever since her accident/amnesia has had more and more miserable storylines.

The fact Scarlett has such a sad back story doesn't help, because she won't fill a gap once Val leaves.

Raahh · 05/12/2022 07:29

We need Luca back from his theatre tour they managed a good mix of the comedy/serious with him- though they were a bit heavy on the issues.

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:47

Afternoon! I'm guessing the dad has maxed out the credit card for the presents, 21st birthday or not. He couldn't affored beans last week.

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:48

I recognise the friend in red- though she's not usually so 'made up'.

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:50

Holby! She was in Holby!

I miss Holby Sad

doctorsnoddy · 05/12/2022 13:51

What sort of establishment are they in?

StellaAndCrow · 05/12/2022 13:52

They seem to have gone for a night out in some kind of conference centre? maybe there'll be a powerpoint presentation.

StellaAndCrow · 05/12/2022 13:53

Now I'm worried they didn't get tickets for their coats at the cloak room.

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:54

Stella Grin see, it's so long since I was 21 have been out, that that is exactly the sort of thing I would be worrying about too Grin

StellaAndCrow · 05/12/2022 13:55

Then will there be a queue to get them back at the end of the night :)

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:55

It's probably the same conference centre/spa/ yoga place that Emma. Val and Zara went to . Grin

doctorsnoddy · 05/12/2022 13:56

What a great night out!

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:57

Her mates are not going to help her here.

And now she's been sick...
oh dear.

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:57

That's not her coat!!

doctorsnoddy · 05/12/2022 13:58

Oh no. That may cost her her job

Raahh · 05/12/2022 13:58

My 21st was not this eventful. We went to a Harvester.

doctorsnoddy · 05/12/2022 13:59

Oh no. Just gets worse
