As for all the anger about lockdowns - I was on MN a lot when we were in lockdown and the general MNHysteria POV was that lockdown wasn’t enough, that it needed to be more severe and go on for longer, and no you shouldn’t be allowed to say goodbye to your dying mum because you will kill all the grannies etc etc. so a bit surprised to find that so many people had opposing views when I think a large amount of users in this site would have happily welded people’s front doors shut for 3 months

Lol, no one, I just don’t know why anyone who finds a thread so boring continues to post. If I found a thread boring I’d just leave, and often do, I’d never announce it’s boring and then continue to hang around.

I remember when these sort of threads were full of funny posters. Shame this thread has gone the same way as most of MN.

Well I find it funny that the Mary Whitehouses of MN have all come on to tell off everybody who’s said something fairly innocuous like ‘Matt Hancock is good at trials’, like some bossy miserable school teacher.

If you’re so angry about MH being on, either get over it or don’t watch it but the whining is getting boring now. Rightly or wrongly he’s on the show, he will probably be in the top 3, he isn’t going anywhere by the looks of it.

I was thinking the same. Unless I'm looking back on past IAC with rose tinted glasses, I did wince at some of the trials. One being under water in a mesh dome, having to go quite deep under water to retrieve stars, whilst your surrounding space is getting smaller. I couldn't do that! That would be one of my worst nightmares

Saying that, I'm actually looking forward to this night's trial with different people for a change!

Definitely too much food going in to camp, we need more rice and bean revolts! (Remember Worral Thompson going mad, think he threatened a walk out!). Also years ago they used to harp on about how much weight they'd lost. Although I want Jill to be fed, she's a scrap of a woman and we need Owen's muscles to be fed too!
