New thread!

And thanks all. I have an 18 month old now. Who likes to wind up her 5yo sister lol.

OP posts:

Can't believe MT has formed a friendship with Eileen from Corrie !! I agree with former posts that she seems nasty. Why didn't he choose Jill as his deputy ?!

MrsLargeEmbodied · 14/11/2022 07:23

what a depressing watch
it reminds me of being at work, with the bitchiness, BG particularly reminds me of a certain person
i dont care if he is famous for being bitchy
it is not appealing.

BlueRidge · 14/11/2022 07:44

Am I missing something?
How is Sue a bully? What has she said or done to show that?

HeadNorth · 14/11/2022 07:49

I don't understand all the Charlene hate on here - she seems clever and cool to me. And you can't deny her bravery on the first challenge when Baba left her hanging.

lollipoprainbow · 14/11/2022 07:54

@BlueRidge not a bully just snidey

lollipoprainbow · 14/11/2022 07:55

@HeadNorth bossy, opinionated, arrogant she's the same in loose women no one is allowed their own opinion.

use583298 · 14/11/2022 08:00

I shall voting Matt to win, if only to fuck off Ant, Dec and most of the nasty campmates, I doubt I will be the only one. George, Mike and Chris are all seething about it as they all wanted to be king bee.

Confusion101 · 14/11/2022 08:03

I LOVE Mike. Absolutely love him!!! More Mike please! Boy George is a bitch, and while I'm here for the drama I will get sick of listening to him. Want Charlene to go first!

PicturesOfDogs · 14/11/2022 08:11

Owen and Scarlett are my favourites.
Scarlett in particular, she says what she feels, but doesn’t drag things on, and isn’t snidey.

coconotgrove · 14/11/2022 08:13

The jungle is a controlled environment, and an unnatural one at that. It is easy to forget that there are cameras everywhere.

Hancock has one key advantage over all the other contestants, as a politician, more so as a Minister, he has been media trained. He knows how to manipulate the conversation and change the narrative for his advantage.

With this in mind, of course he's coming across well. He's been trained. Do not forget that. He's playing you all. And as he is finally centre-stage, he will do everything expected of him. He knew going into the jungle that he would probably face each and every trial, so was already prepared for it.

I really like Chris Moyles! I listen to his breakfast radio show on Radio X and think he's funny, along with his team.

I think the editing on TV has been done to make him
Look like a gossip, but all we see is 1 hour out of 24. The whole editing process is manipulation to maximise viewing figures, and can lead to heroes and villains.

I can't see why he's getting so much hate.

I don't like MH at all and it's ruining the show due to the politics of it all now. If I was there and he appeared, I wouldn't like him, I wouldn't want to like him and I'd be pissed off that I had to spend a few weeks with him. I wouldn't pretend to like him just for the cameras. I'm pleased that some camp mates are sticking to their views.

Totally agree with this.

I like her too. Seems more reasoned and mature than (ahem) some others.

Moyles and George were just absolutely furious not to have topped the camp leader vote.

BG is just an unpleasant person. He started his nastiness almost straight away by muttering to others about Charlene being controlling and taking over - it was what, day 2?! And then switched to Matt Hancock as an easier target when he arrived. He whispers poison and uses his social cachet to get others to go along with him. Interesting and disappointing to see who goes along with the targeting of the designated outcast.

xalo · 14/11/2022 08:31

I really really hope that BG will be the first one out!
It will be a massive shock for him.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 14/11/2022 08:38

i really hope BG will be out soon,
MT
and CM
awful unpleasant people

No one can keep up an act 24/7 for three weeks and surely the cameras would catch any bad behaviour?

Trouble is, it'll be vote to save, which means the bigger, more polarising characters stay in and lovely Scarlette or Jill might be at risk.

DooNotAsISay · 14/11/2022 08:54

To be honest I don’t think MT is much better, he’s constantly making digs at MH, saying things like “people won’t forgive me for losing to him” etc You know he watched his wife’s granny sit alone at her husband’s funeral, right? Around the same time that MH was snogging his aide, and grabbing her arse while at work. Not to mention MH gave PPE contacts to his friends, and who has been found to have acted unlawfully in relation to the awarding of PPE contracts.
I’m a staunch republican, but ffs, on a personal level, Mike has every right to be angry.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 14/11/2022 09:31

and how do we know MH kissed his aid at work?

MrsLargeEmbodied · 14/11/2022 09:31

luckily there are no dwafs in the camp

DooNotAsISay · 14/11/2022 09:56

Er, there was a very well-publicised video of them when they were both at work! Typically the Tories first response was to try to find out who leaked it so the leaker could be dealt with, not addressing the of MH’s behaviour!

use583298 · 14/11/2022 10:04

Olivia Attwood is on This Morning

MrsLargeEmbodied · 14/11/2022 10:07

people have affairs
they leave their marriages
it is not a crime

bluebell34567 · 14/11/2022 10:15

They're happy to make their snide comments behind his back, but not to his face & not one of them is principled enough to refuse the food he's single handedly supplying.
true.

bluebell34567 · 14/11/2022 10:22

I do think sitting with his arm round her and calling her his camp wife is a bit weird
agree.

DooNotAsISay · 14/11/2022 10:25

@MrsLargeEmbodied
At work, in the office? While there’s a pandemic and he’s not following the guidance he drew up.
Oh, ok then.
Not law-breaking, but people have every right to be cross about his behaviour in the circumstances.
And he’s such a stand up guy that that video is how his wife and children found out about the affair.
