I would like to see Matt Hancock win but I don’t think the team will edit it in such a way that he could win . Is it not in their control ?
I have never voted Tory and I never will but how much do people want him to suffer ? In my opinion he is brave to face everybody in such a public way . Seems like some people would like to see him crucified . No wonder people commit suicide .
I like the fact we will hear Matts own reality not the narrative we are usually being fed.
Matt you don’t need any bodies forgiveness you just have to forgive yourself.

Why on earth should he win? He shouldn't even be in the jungle, he should be back in the UK, doing his job and representing his constituents. If he really was contrite and seeking forgiveness, he should donate his entire fee to a COVID-related charity or the NHS.

As for his own reality, really? You think he's not trying to change and control the narrative? He's got a captive audience and is trying to whitewash his own failings.

I am stunned so many are falling for his schtick.

Zanatdy · 13/11/2022 22:27

Absolutely cannot stand BG, disgusting person

StrawberryRed · 13/11/2022 22:28

Same here!
Downloaded the app especially to vote for those two.
Their true colours are showing and it's unpleasant to see.

I'll be doing the same.

Both CM and BG enjoy pulling people to one side and bitching trying recruit to thei hyena pack, MH has been the easy and obvious target for that, agree with the hyenas comment above

That little song they're singing now is completely wrong in this context.

Ironically I think THEY are helping to sway public opinion in MH favour, viewers don't like bullies.

I'm not a tory voter but I can separate a person from their politics. If we all acted like the celebs in the jungle right now we'd be in a civil war but on the whole in the real world people rub along fine.

Given that the Tories won the election, chances are there is a few Tory voters in the jungle keeping quiet to avoid being a target of the Cool Kids.

I say this as a non-Tory voter.

Hancock is The Spectre at the Feast. He’s so tightly associated with (most) of the nations opinions about the government’s failings during Covid, that no approach towards him in the camp feels right.

So Charlene, initially quite anti and pulling out the journalist card, now seems to be quite taken with him. It looks quite hypocritical, but I guess she’s just a person getting by in a weird situation, and experiencing him as just another person.

Those camp mates making jibes and swipes at him reflect many people’s feelings. But in this surreal setting it’s coming across as bitchy and a pile on. Which sadly diminishes the very understandable and relatable feelings they have.

I think he’s a hugely flawed man, and my feelings towards him haven’t and won’t change. I think ultimately this will be a win win situation for him. People will see some camp mates liking him and think he must therefore be not all bad. Those who understandably dislike him are already being called bullies by some, which will win him some sympathy votes.

I just wish he wasn’t in there.

On the contrary, your falling for the shtick that's made him the Scapegoat.

ShakeYourFeathers · 13/11/2022 22:29

I feel like especially with snakes which aren't that common in the UK that there's a sliding scale of not liking them 1- they're ok, 5- rather wouldn't deal with one and wouldn't have a pet snake. 10- would burn down the house if there was one. You could be a 6 but still say you don't like snakes

Also if you're hungry and there's food at stake and there's a few snakes in the way you'd probably suddenly become a bit more tolerant of them

kerstina · 13/11/2022 22:30

Actually I would like to see Jill win. It takes a while to get to know their personalities but I like her the best .

Or maybe people are allowed different opinions on the same thing?

I really like Mike so far, but several people don't. People are allowed different views 😉

Having different views is one thing. Making up stuff that clearly isn't happening is another. At NO point has Matt looked down on anyone and acted like they are all plebs.

PurpleButterflyWings · 13/11/2022 22:34

Even on left wing Twitter, the tide is turning. 100s of people are saying Chris Moyle's and Boy George's true colours are shining brightly. Their behaviour is vile, both of them are embarrassing themselves.

Are those colours red, gold and green?! 😀

I think it'd be great to vote for CM and BG to do all the tasks now and watch the awkwardness, resentment and bitchiness that ensues from them returning with less stars than MH did...! Tables turned on the bullies even if all goes quieter on the MH front (I'm not necessarily routing for him to win!) but would enjoy seeing the bullies have a taste of their own medicine.

Unsure33 · 13/11/2022 22:42

even in previous years I have sai they should have a rule , no more than 2 trials in a row. Who the hell is voting for him . It’s boring now

coconotgrove · 13/11/2022 22:42

StrawberryRed · 13/11/2022 22:29

On the contrary, your falling for the shtick that's made him the Scapegoat.

But he's not the scapegoat, nor do I think he's one. He's the one trying to convince us he's the scapegoat.

My mind boggles at how many of you can't see this.

If Hancock is seeking redemption, doing bushtucker trials and releasing his COVID diaries is not the way to go about it. He's merely trying to feather his nest and seek out a post-parliamentary career. I bet the producers couldn't believe their luck they only had to pay him £400k.

Rupertgrintismyguiltypleasure · 13/11/2022 22:44

I don’t have an issue with Matt Hancock, never did,... he was much more forthcoming in the press conferences than BJ... IMO anyway. Yes he didn’t follow his own guidance, but most of the mps didn’t if you recall, there was anough drama about party gate.
my issue is now the rest of the other camp mates aren’t gonna get the full experience because he gets voted every trial. I think he’s been absolutely cordial to all of them. Then people are voting for him and then complaining 🧐

JenniferBooth · 13/11/2022 22:44

@coconotgrove I TOTALLY agree

And i wonder if Hancock would have got as much support if he was a woman.

AuroraCake · 13/11/2022 22:45

CM and BG are both rather unpleasant. Matt Hancock is fine. He does the trials - he’s good at them which makes sure they all eat. I don’t really have an opinion on him really…no more than the rest of the clowns. What about his kids though, ai hope they don’t see this as a humiliation and they are proud of their Dad. I mean he hasn’t been moaned once about any of it.

I cannot stand BG assumed moral superiority, who does he think he is? Ex con with a conviction for violent assault.

Who sang some mediocre songs
Ridiculous self delusion

Ramble0n · 13/11/2022 22:49

I'm sure his kids were very proud of their dad when they saw the video of him groping his bit on the sides arse.

Don't forget he brought THREE stars to the camp.

The irony that he justified that as a worthy contribution deserving of respect whilst not seeing how that same gratitude should be shown from him to MH by just not being a dick.

StrawberryRed · 13/11/2022 22:51

And scaled up to reflect the 30+ stars won by MH

Chocrock · 13/11/2022 22:52

I am really sick of CM and BG constantly bitching behind backs it’s a really ugly thing to see. Are they really too thick to realise that we are watching and they won’t stand a chance of winning if they behave like that?

FredaFox · 13/11/2022 22:53

TitsInAbsentia · 13/11/2022 21:34

No but honestly, where do they get the hair that's transplanted on?!

My friend had it done
Hairs are taken from around the back of the head, most people have 3 hairs to a follicle, usually they use just one of the 3 which is the strongest and implant
It's a painful process and after it's taken all the hair falls out before the regrowth comes
My friend also has monthly injections in the area that was only thinning a bit to keep what he has
Looks decent a year on tbh

Agree

StrawberryRed · 13/11/2022 22:56

Apart from the money I think many celebrities go on the show to boost their employment prospects. I think this stint for CM particularly could backfire. And also MT.

MT is the Cool Kid that doesn't bully but laughs at the bullies. I think it's a shame as he has a lot of warmth about him but just not enough integrity/maturity to be neutral. I also imagine the royals would be quite Tory in private based on their social circles!
