What BG did was pretty horrendous. I'm not sure it's something that you just do your time for and then become a decent person.

The only reason people bring this up is because the camp mates are acting very holier than thou with Matt Hancock, whilst welcoming others with open arms who also have dubious pasts. And whilst I am not a MH fan in real life I don't like to watch someone be isolated for 3 weeks, it's uncomfortable even if he is a wanker. And I dont want to watch 3 weeks of "he has constituants" and low level politics

For what it’s worth I do feel superior to Matt Hancock. I’m not a liar, I’m not an adulterer, I try not to be a hypocrite too often. If I make a mistake I try and own it, and not double down. I also have loads of faults just like everybody else. Not something he ever acknowledges.

He was totally focused on what he had to do. Especially at the end. Was I the only one willing him to get all the stars?

OK- I like Matt Hancock the bloke outside of politics that Im seeing on TV, hes tenacious and has a good sense of humour. Lots of people conducted affairs in lockdown, no he shouldn't have done it especially in his position but he's not the devil incarnate.

I still don't think it should be added every time someone mentions what he did. It's the mentioning it each time that makes it feel like his crime is being diminished each time. What he did was abhorrent. It's bad enough he only served 4 months for the crime, let alone it feeling okie some people justify what he did because of addiction and poor mental health.

However, I do agree he has done his punishment several years back and should be able to live his life. Equally I don't think he should try and take a moral high ground bearing in mind his own background.

I agree that Hancock has a strange style of speech. I think he’s filtering all the time. Nothing seems relaxed or spontaneous. It’s very strategic.
