C4 / UK pace: No Spoilers Please - Handmaids Tale returns anyone else excited?

YEY. just seen the new season is starting 23 October. I binge watched the others earlier in the month so can’t wait for it to start again. The ending was a shocker that I didn’t see coming. I can’t wait to see where they’re taking it. Will serena joy get let go because she was under his orders AND she’s having a baby. Or will she get put into jail and baby taken away when he’s born.

Is this the channel 4 air date?

I will tune in - of course! - but there's no way it can be as good or exciting as the early series. In fact, they're dragging it out.

New series starts slow but each episode gets better.

Probably but I'm not sure I can handle more bleakness rn and they are definitely dragging it out. Will watch for the score most likely

Since I know it's only 2 more series I think I'll stick with it (did not like end of last series). At one point they were talking about 10 in total

I'll probably watch it because I've watched all the others, but I think the last series really dragged ...

I read that they were going to finish after season 6 but that they are in talks to create a series about the testaments so I'm guessing HT will not finish with the testaments story.

I only read the testaments because I don't HT so hard to watch I needed to know how it ended.

I believe it's going to be on both channel 4 and prime.

I'm watching it at US pace and enjoying it. There's another thread for those of us already watching. You might want to update the thread title to add something like UK pace, no spoilers.

I think I will wait and then binge watch.

If there is any justice I would love to see Serena joy have her baby taken off her and she become a handmaid. That's what she deserves.

But I do think it's all dragging out a bit now. I'm not sure how June can come back from killing Fred.

This series has been great. Not what I expected! I'm looking forward to seeing it on channel 4 so I can watch it at my leisure

I find that the beginning of each season starts slow and then gets going. I want to see what happens with serena joy. I think I heard it on channel 4 the other day. Once it’s started will the whole season be on 4 on demand so that we can watch the whole season?
