Married couples generally are looking to buy a property or start a family etc. Not work to earn enough to travel for a couple of months at a time.

What happens if they have children? If she's going to be the main earner he can't just disappear for months at a time.

Johnathan's wander lust seemed to come completely left field. There had been absolutely nothing in his video introduction, interviews with the experts or his earlier conversations with Sophie to point to it. Although I guess they could have edited them all out

But it felt strange that he suddenly presented it like it was a non-negotiable. The cynical side of me did wonder if Johnathan was realising he didn't want to be a house husband with a career woman. And rather than have a grown up conversation that said my bad - I don't really want to stay home and look after the kids.
