This was all quite uncomfortable. It felt like KwaMeMe was being pressured by a box of tricks and a sexpert in the bedroom.
I don't like tatts guy. There's something very controlling about him. Yy Gemma is very crude because she's insecure and her self-worth and notions of love are tied up with sex. But he seems to have done nothing to address her insecurities. He's stormed out. He's demanding she changes completely all at once whilst it's ok for him to joke a cake is like an orgasm on his face. Nah, he's a wrong'un.
I like Johnathan and Sophie but agree it feels like this series is racing through everything.

I must admit I felt awkard when Tatts made the face orgasm comment after he's just pulled her up for similar. I think Jonathan will leave Sophie, it's nice now whilst they're in their bubble but he wants the simple life, he seems more grounded than her. I'm surprised she's moved along with him so quickly.

The kwame/kasia scene was just hideous on all sorts of levels. I felt really uncomfortable for Kwame basically being coerced into being naked and touched by two women. No way would that happen if roles were reversed.

Gemma just can't help herself. Tats has pointed out a few times that he's uncomfortable with her crude talk. It's just not what he wants in a partner and it's a turn off for him. He wants and needs someone who is considerate of his feelings. The poor guy's mum is terminally ill and she's stressing him out behaving like a child who can't get what she wants.

Sophie is heading for heartbreak. She's definitely a lot more into Johnathan than he is into her. I think the obsession with career, money and luxuries will be too much for him and I think her family will make him feel unworthy even though he's a really lovely genuine man and a huge catch.

I'm finding it odd that they keep missing the drama on the honeymoons ie April in the hot tub; Matt storming out of a meal. The entire format this time feels off.

To be fair, Tats has said he doesn't mind the odd joke or reference to sex but with her it's constant. She did say that he was saying similar back at dinner and then went off though so who knows. It feels like major points of reference are being missed out this series.

I think Sophie and her husband have forgotten that there are always compromises to be had and there is definitely a middle ground between manc city centre and the wilds of Yorkshire. If she is as good at her job as they want us to believe she could definitely find another position elsewhere. Same for him. But it seems like her family wouldn't accept that.

I thought Sophie worked and lived in London? But yeah, agree. You don't have to live in the city just because you work there.

The more I think about the KwaMeMe situation - the more I think they need to address it and apologise for it. There's a massive difference between seduction and coercion. Giving someone a massage in public in a massage space is very different from what they did to him.
I'm really annoyed that they've behaved so badly I've ended up on KwaMeMe's side about something.

I actually know Matt in real life and have done for a long time, I agree with PPs he's coming across pretty well on the programme but he is VERY full of himself IRL. He's very different on the show than he is in person imo.

This phrasing made me laugh, but I agree with the discomfort. To me, it's even worse because of the racial dimension - "Black man isn't allowed to say no to sex" has very ugly undertones.

Oh Gemma. It's just painful to watch how much she needs validation from Matt in order to feel secure. The sexual stuff is cringe but it definitely comes from a place of insecurity and need to be desired. I actually have 🚩 about Matt a little, he's not wrong in what he's saying but the hug after the chat (as well as Gemma's real desperation at trying to find out where they stood) seemed so clinical.

Sophie is beautiful, and I love Jonathon. She seems to have relaxed a lot and is less materialistic away from it all, but time will tell whether she'd be prepared to give up some of her lifestyle when Jon is clearly a country boy at heart. I'm reasonably high up in tech and I don't live anywhere near where my company is based so totally possible especially post pandemic life to live one place and 'work' in another.

Sophie underestimated Jonathan to begin with but he's coming across as bright and emotionally intelligent with clear preferences based upon his wellbeing rather than finances or outward appearances. I can see that being quite intriguing and refreshing to her.

Agreed that eye gazing and hugs would have been far more appropriate for Kwame and Kasia than a big box of whips 'n' lube. God knows if they had sex or not but nobody should have been put in that position (literally) if they had expressed a desire to hang back for any reason. She needed to be encouraged to respect that and not take it personally, not him to speed up.

Ah I thought Johnathan and Sophie were really cute, but agree with PP she’ll end up hurt. It’s all lovely when your in the beautiful St Lucia, but he knows it’s not got legs. She’s in the honeymoon bubble and not thinking long term, is she going to be willing to make big compromises for him? Will the family approve? It’s one of the more interesting pairs!
