Feeling a bit sorry for Richard but I would like Rafa to have a easy win (so that I can go to bed!)

I missed all of last night’s excitement but glad to see Rafa is through. Shame about Dan though.

I am up early and watching the Sinner/Nakashima match. Still a way to go - it’s one set all and they’ve just started the third.

I do hate that I miss most of the US/Australian opens due to the time difference (I am not a person who can stay up late except for very special occasions) but I do like that it means I sometimes get some early morning tennis if they’re still going!

I missed the end if Rafa's match, I'm glad Richard was a bit more competitive in the end ( but not so much to win).

I only managed to stay awake for the first set (which seemed to take a long time for a 6-0 set!). Poor Richard - bet his heart sinks when he has to play Rafa!

Good to hear that Rafa’s nose is still there - might watch a replay of the last set and Rafa's interview

I want to hunt down the interview too- it is good to know his nose is still there

I am panicking to today. DD2 starts secondary tomorrow, and it's all been very stressful. She's just tried her skirt on -and it's now massive I can't get another, as I spent a small fortune getting it alterered in the first place- but uniform is so hard to get that will fit with her stoma. She's not wearing the jumper tomorrow either- (it's not compulsory, but it would at least cover the massive gap at the waist, and hold the skirt up). I've ordered waist adjuster elastic...Primary was so much simpler! I hate secondary uniform. (But at least dd1's school skirts came in reasonable sizes, and wouldn't have needed altering!).

<rant over>

Probably wouldn't be a good idea to stay up til 2.30am again tomorrow- although I'm not sure I will sleep.

Oh no Raahh - hope you get the skirt sorted out - uniform seems very strict these days - my nephew is starting secondary school tomorrow (he seems too little to me!) and has to wear shirt, tie and blazer - they’ll all look like mini apprentices!

The interview is at the end of the replay of the match on Prime - nice to see James Blake - Rafa’s nose is still there but bigger than before

These late nights are not good for me - I’m still in my PJs!
