Anyone else loved Green Wing?

I've been watching clips of Green Wing on YouTube. I'd forgotten how good it was.
Any other fans out there?

I think it's still on All4.

I came here to post ‘creeping Jesus’ as soon as I saw the thread title Currently sniggering to myself on a crowded train platform!

I loved Green Wing, also have the box set and this has inspired a rewatch which I’ll start tonight!

I also heart JRT. And the recorder dance…

Completely missed this when it was first shown but we watched it last year and loved it.
Not found anything that compares since.

Not as accurate as Cardiac Arrest (the series that launched Jed Mercurio's career) but has its moments. The desperate, and unsuccessful, race to the canteen was realistic. And I'm sure I've met that radiologist.

Love, love, love it. I re-watched it, recently, and it's still brilliant. Sue White is the bestest! I imagine they all had an absolute blast filming it,

Didn't the production team and writers (not actors) do a similar kind of series called 'Campus' about a university campus (funnily enough) which wasn't as good (IMO).

I loved it too! Anything with Tamsin Greig, she's just brilliant. And I've still got a massive crush on Oliver Chris. Might have to rewatch tonight!

I seem to recall it was about the same time as Scrubs but it was soooo much better.

Loved it. Statham in the Chinese takeaway is comedy gold and makes me laugh just thinking about it all these years on

Cardiac Arrest and Bodies were both brilliant.

Mark Heap (Jim) was in Green Wing too.

I think the point that the PP was trying to make was that the Chinese takeaway sketch wasn’t from Green Wing!

OK I misunderstood.

My best friend and godmother to my first child initially bonded at uni through green wing love. We still to this day will randomly txt each other 'carrier pigeon' to which the other will instantly reply 'carrier of DISEEEEASE'

Apparently they had multiple takes of almost every scene which were all amazing because the cast were allowed to just improvise whatever they wanted. Post production took forever because they couldn't decide which brilliant take to use. I can well believe it.

Michelle Gomez is a goddess. The guy who played Martin came up in comedy as part of a double act with Russell Brand! He has a bit part as his agent in Get him to the Greek!

My faves were Martin and the radiologist having the affair with the office manager lady and the hr woman was fabulous too.

Martin is Karl Theobald. He was in 2012 and Plebs (salve Landlord!)

I worked in the hospital they filmed it in (Northwick Park in Harrow) while they were filming it snd had zero budget for extras so used to film in the corridors during the day so you would be walking to the canteen and here cut behind you. Used to watch it to try and spot colleagues. Remember watching them film a screen in the car park below our office which was fun.

Just love Olivia Coleman and the almost-successful coordination of her kids (parents' evening, phonecalls to people remotely finding calpol 'down a bit...behind the Bob the Builder pasta', coming to work without all her clothes and not noticing)
It is a mad work of genius.

I love this show so much. Including THAT spontaneous recorder dance.
