Anyone else loved Green Wing?

I've been watching clips of Green Wing on YouTube. I'd forgotten how good it was.
Any other fans out there?

Absolutely loved it, and have had huge crushes on Julian R-T and Stephen M ever since. Tried to share it with my teen DC, but the quality on YouTube was just too dire. Will try again using OP’s link.

Guy-ball is my standout hilarious episode.

Such a good series-loved Olivia Coleman, Julian RT and Stephen Mangan. The other girls in the office were brilliant as well.

Oh, and Oliver Chris who I hadn’t seen in anything before. He was fabulous in Bluestone 42 as well.

Yes! I still have the dvd box sets that I crack out now and again. It is just brilliant.

I LOVED Green Wing. Sue White is the greatest TV character of all time, bar none.

I loved it too. Also have the box set. I work in the NHS and definitely work with people like this!

Bloody loved it. Still watch it regularly now and have the theme tune as my ring tone.

There's a good chance I'll have a ginger child and I'm almost waiting for that to happen so I can sing the song to my husband.

Green wing remains one of the best comedies of all time in my view and I will eternally love Stephen Mangan and JRT

Just loved it. Don't know why it isn't mentioned more often in 'Comedy Classics' lists.
I found a box set in a charity shop a couple of years ago and we watched it during some rainy evenings on holiday with my dd. It definitely stood the test of time.

Love Green Wing, even more than Black Books because JRC is lovely and Sue White is mad. 🤣

I loved Green Wing. I've watched it hundreds of times. But I have always been a bit disappointed in the final episode.
I love Teachers too. I was it when I was doing my PGCE, and it was so much like my school!

I HEART GREENWING! It's so brilliant, really funny a bit weird, clever and emotional!!! There is nothing to compare it too!

I just recently rewatched it C4. Bloody marvellous. Interesting to see now familiar faces quite early in their careers. We need to see more of Michelle Gomez.

Loved it, and I have a cherished box set too. Mortified when I rewatched years ago and realised the ‘older woman’ was younger than me.

I'd struggle to pick out one or even two characters I love from it, they were all absolutely brilliant. Mark Heap is a genius.

I love Green Wing. One of the few box sets I've ever bought tbh.

I'm... ambiguous about Green Wing.

Plus: adore Tamsin Greig. Great cast generally, lots of funny moments.

Weird: I have had to assume that the entire second series is Mac's fevered coma dream.

The negatives:
(minor, entirely my fault) I have never been able to fancy Stephen Mangan even the tiniest little bit so that plotline did absolutely nothing for me obviously she's going to pick JRT.
(major) I have never been able to work out if the writers intended us to think OMG The Homophobia

Is it ok that I fancied Guy more than Mac?!

I met Katie Lyons who played “Naughty Rachel” from HR last year and I recognised her from GW even though she looks totally different and has featured in more things since then. She was quite surprised I recognised her from GW, but I was so obsessed I watched it thousands of times so I knew her instantly!!!

God, I loved green wing! Sue White and Dr Statham are my faves! I've got the box set too and once a year or so sit and watch it again!
Genuinely brilliant comedy!

I loved it. It's one of the few of that kind of series that haven't got a single weak aspect/character (apart from the ending, maybe).

Totally agree re: teachers as well, it was very sharply observing of how teaching was 15-20 years ago, not so much these days...
