Couldn't agree more. Quite surprised about it actually. It's a shame as I would have like to have heard some about her journey to being able to hear. Would have been amazing for awareness.

I wonder if the producers have just never shown footage of them discussing her disability? I find it hard to believe no one s mentioned it. Unless they did it n such a clumsy way. In fact I'm surprised there wasn't a script,

They also said that when the cochlear implant is faulty it can take weeks to have ithem repaired. During that time Tasha and other CI wearers are plunged into a world of silence. It put into perspective some of the challenges she has overcome and some she still faces.

She’s a pretty amazing girl by most people’s standards.

And lets face it Tasha has probably had to deal with bullying, unkind comments and discrimination before in her life. It is actually heartbreaking that she has had to endure bullying on love island as well. What she has achieved is incredible, if it wasn't for the visible hearing aids she uses you would not know she had a disability.

Forgive the pun but I think Luca is used to being a big fish in a small pond. His family is obviously pretty wealthy and he runs with what he considers quite a glamorous circle already. I imagine he thinks every girl he has been with has been punching and lucky to be with him. He is in for a rude awakening.

Just watched last nights episode. The second hand embarrassment was to much. I had to turn it off when Luca came on

Tasha singing last night was so brave.

If we're lucky Luca and Gemma will be bottom three tonight. Although other than being fairly sure ES and Davide are safe I couldn't call who other than Danica and wotsit will be bottom.

Two ex-Islanders, Jazmine and Coco are saying that Luca is being misrepresented on the edits. Coco reckons inside the villa he gives Gemma lots of space and isn't possessive. Jazmine said the only person she had a connection with was Luca, and he would make a point to go over to her and ask her if she was ok.

Ha, fun with Luca tonight, unless he and Gemma have decided to have a little tiff and then make up to win public affection!

Hope we get a dumping tonight, says three couples at risk. so we have Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri, sun and Mon is the final. Say 3 couples in the final would mean we can have three dumps (mwah ha ha!) before Monday? Or do you reckon they'll take 4 through to Monday?

Looks like Gemma does something to Adam in the challenge. But think about it this way, if Luca is such a dick to her when they're in a small space with few people what will he be like when she's out in the real world! I made the mistake of getting engaged to a jealous ex thinking he would calm down (yes, young and stupid was I) soon found out you can't change em!

Gemma won’t get rid it’s to close to the final she will stick it out now with her eyes on the prize then dump him as soon as she gets out

I like to hope Andrew just didn’t think. I thought Tasha getting up there and singing was brilliant. Even with her implant she wont ‘hear’ in the same way the hearing community do. I’ve looked after so many children having cochlear implants and seeing them visit and their speech progress is amazing.

She signed until she got her implant age 5, but they break or need new batteries, just like any piece of equipment. They cost thousands.

I can believe that. But don't forget Luca was on a mission especially in Casa to make himself look good and everyone else look bad. Dami called him out on it.

Oh do give it a rest Billy. There was not loads of flirting with him from Gemma. Because they wouldn't edit it out and would have shown Luca at movie night.

I read that pretty much all the islanders that have come out have said Luca has had a poor edit which is interesting. You can’t make someone say things that they haven’t but I guess there’s still another 23 hours in the day.

he needs to tone the jealousy down though. You’ll get nowhere with a girl like Gemma behaving like that. She won’t be impressed by it, you can see already it’s a huge turn off for her. And this is in a situation where everything is filmed. I’d not want someone seemingly so possessive being with my daughter, even if she was as self assured as Gem is.

Also if you look at the first look on insta, so much support under the post for Luca!

I looked her up earlier and it said that her implant broke while she was doing her A levels, that must have been so upsetting. Also, she has a 1st class honours degree in Dance Performance but I don't recall her mentioning it....whereas someone else we know might have mentioned theirs!

I have to admit I went off Tasha a bit around the 'bad ass bitch' era but I think she's still my favourite. She doesn't appear to have had any 'work' done, she's really pretty and out of them all I think she's the one I'd most likely pick as a friend!

Same for Jacques though he was getting a lot of support online

Yeah I agree I’ve really warmed to Tasha and Andrew, I voted for them last night. Luca can get back in the sea with the fish he loves so dearly, he is rank.

There is nothing wrong with Andrew saying Tasha was a terrible singer - she was! It is patronizing to people with disabilities to treat them differently and pretend everything they do is amazing. His comment was exactly the truth and I am sure Tasha know she can't sing. So many of them did things they were terrible at. She had fun just like the rest of them.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting that Andrew should have said Tasha was an amazing singer.

There were lots of beach hut soundbites and other quips about how awful various people were.
