Her voice and mannerisms are very similar. From what I've seen so far her personality is similar too. Doesn't take nonsense, very direct, confident, dancer.

I think jacques wasn’t really thinking when jay asked to get to know Paige, and was thinking more about it wasn’t his place to say no and didn’t want to fall out with jay, was trying to be cool guy. He’s clearly not happy now he’s seen the reality of it.

I think jay was just looking for an out from Ekin, and knew Paige had fancied him when he first went in, so decided on that fall back position. I think jacques and her are better suited.

I find the whole Gemma and Luca thing odd,I don’t think she’d ever go near him in real life, so I think she’s settling as literally no one else is showing her any attention. Which I think is everything to do with the fact she’s only 19. I think if she was a few years older it would be very different,

I don’t think there is anyone in there for Antigone, she’s much more put together, confident and mature than everyone else. I hope she doesn’t go for davide, as it turns out he’s the most uncoolest lacking in personality guy ever. 😂

Do we know if it’s the boys choosing tonight? Because I can see Jay going before Jacques and picking Paige first

Danica reminds me of Chloe a bit with the constant hair playing she did at the beginning, but I can’t think who her voice reminds me of.

I think it will be the girls choosing as the (in) decision is with them at the moment.

I'm hoping the girls will choose as otherwise Ekin Sue will be out. I know she's exhausting and would drive me up the wall in real life but she's reality TV gold

This is the Ekin Su show..I'm on the fence as to whether she is given these situations, as the producers know she's an 'actress'..

I agree, it feels like Tasha is now worried about being in the 3 least popular islanders with the public and has remembered why she went into love island in the first place - now looking to become more interesting and get some more airtime.
Am interested to see what happens next with Tasha.
If Tasha and Andrew u couple then I really can't guess who Andrew would couple up with, possibly Danica?

It's even numbers at the moment, so the re-coupling must be for shake-up purposes - unlike the yawnsfest of everyone sticking together in the last series. I guess they'll get a couple of days in new couples before next popularity vote?

Isn't there an equal number of boys and girls at the moment? So surely another boy/girl will have to come in before the recoupling. Or some other twist has got to happen.

I think it'll be a viewers vote for favourite couple. The lowest 2 or 3 will be vulnerable, and it'll be islanders vote for who leaves. Done separately, with girls choosing boy and boys choosing girl - so a mix of popularity in the villa and gaming which the others will pick and trying to harmonise

Works best if they don't evict a couple together an the dynamics change again.

Spot on there with the Davide observation noticed it a lot last night.

I don’t get the ES drama - I find her pretty boring and formulaic. She’s very needy! She’s no more interested in Charlie then she is in my toenail.

I think Davide is tv gold though, he almost laments ‘people can’t see beyond all this’ like his beauty is a blessing and a terrible curse. Don’t even know if I like him but he makes me laugh - when he said about Danika after kissing her “I probably made her day” whoooooeeeee! The man would eat himself if he was chocolate.

Watching last night I do think Jaques does like Paige, think he's just trying to be a "man" with the jay thing. Jays boring as fuck anyway.
Danica talks to much proper Leicester girl 😂 that's where she's gone wrong though. Like her confidence but sometimes less is more.

Ekin is on another planet dpd you hear her say about jay "we were in a relationship" she has no self awareness. Jay didn't really have a chance to get to know anyone else when he came in as she basically warned everyone off. Agree Charlie has her as a back up as she's easy pickings. I actually don't like Charlie.

It did seem like ES went back into the house, got spoken to by a producer who reminded her to go and make some drama, and then came back out again didn't it?

Tasha is not tempted by Charlie. Tasha has realised that both her and Andrew were bottom three so her strategy isn't working and she needs to switch it up if she wants to stay in the game.

Worst line of the series so far: Davide saying his kiss was a gift to Danica...

It would be much better to have the boys choose with Charlie first (Tasha) and then Jay (Paige) as then it will make it really interesting.

I suspect Charlie will be allowed to pick first, then the girls or boys will pick. He will pick Tasha.

I am not really keen on davide refering to himself in the third person it’s quite odd. The kiss was creepy and looked fake. Like a deliberate act rather than he was suddenly over come with passion.

gemma and Luca are getting less air time because the pair of them do and say fuck all. They just sit cuddling. It doesn’t make good telly.

Why would you show Gemma and Luca sitting quietly cuddling when you can show ekin shouting fuck off, Paige crying, Tasha getting her head turned, Andrew getting all perturbed, jay cracking on to Paige, jacques telling ekin in no uncertain terms she was a fucking headache, and indyia stirring rhe pot and encouraging all the girls to go after different blokes to the ones they are with.😂

Unpopular opinion, but I feel really sorry for ES. Davide clearly was uninterested when they were together to the point of telling Andrew he was avoiding her as much as he could, and then only kicked off when she went for Jay because it hurt his male ego (definitely getting misogynist vibes there)

She clearly is very insecure and so reacts poorly but I think Jay's been winding her up for days (Amber and Paige don't like her) and not once, when she was talking about leaving for him, did he say to slow down or take a break. And I really dislike that he was cuddling her and being intimate and then joining in with the boys comments about her being dramatic in the morning.

I understand the islanders find her irritating, but they are so openly hostile to her, even when they are all having a relaxed chat in the daytime, it makes me uncomfortable. I want someone to come in that genuinely likes her and I think we would see a different side to her.

I agree about Davide being a bit of a misogynistic prick, why he said he kissed Danica because he knew she wanted to do it so it was a gift, and he said something similar about Antigone. What a shame.

Also agree that Jacques likes Paige, he was trying to do the right thing, not be controlling and was basically saying yeah have your chat but I’m not concerned as I’m secure with what we have but didn’t communicate that well with Paige. Thought he was really sweet when she crying, and I just think he’s hilarious. Actually him, Luca and Dami have pretty good comic timing with their one liners!

I feel like ES has boxed herself off as the crazy girl in the villa, the comments Charlie made to her in the dressing room about her going after anyone with a pulse etc were so rude, I’d have cut him dead there but I appreciate she’s limited for options currently and needs to stay in. She’s the most beautiful girl in the villa by far but her personality and reactions have rendered her really unpopular within the group.

Agree that Tasha is considering jumping ship as she knows her and Andrew are unpopular, I thought the date with Charlie was really awkward tbh. Maybe she’s hoping for a cameo on MIC if she goes for him!
