I believe Jacques. If he was lying, he's really opened himself up to ridicule and I suspect he's the type of guy who really wouldn't handle that well. I think he was genuinely being emotionally vulnerable with Paige there.

As someone who has dated a Jacques, he’s lying. You can tell by his eyes when he was saying all that spiel. There was absolutely nothing genuine about that what so ever.
