Feel a bit sorry for Tasha tbh. I think she knows somethings not right between her and Andrew and looks sad and bored. She keeps saying she’s lost herself and used to be so sassy etc…he’s bringing her down, through no fault of his own, they’re just not suited. She might be a soft personality and doesn’t want to hurt Andrew or have everyone blaming her…she was hoping Charlie would pick her so it wouldn’t have been her choice, then maybe they’d gradually get on more and she’d part from Andrew.

Mummyoflittledragon · 24/06/2022 23:29

Ah I need to be watching this more closely lol. I usually play games on my iPad at the same time as the shows can be a bit slow and repetitive. The chats are possibly a lot more subtle this year then.

SaltedCaramelIcedLatte · 24/06/2022 23:34

I think Tasha is upset because she didn't get picked by Charlie....she ended up with Andrew and she didn't want to be!!! She cannot just walk away from him because all the guys in the Villa will judge/have an opinion

CarpyDiem · 24/06/2022 23:41

New to these threads, so I expect this has been mentioned before. However I have noticed this year no one is discussing if they’ve done bits or using code words for what they’ve got up to in the bedroom. Is there a reason for this or are this group just more mature?

I kind of hope they know how tacky it comes across. But I suspect the real reason is that there isn't much going on

They've been spending a lot of time in the salon though haven't they? 🤣

Gone off Davide as I was just starting to like him but they was really spiteful to danica, I know not everyone likes her and finds her annoying but there was no need for that considering he was kissing her the night before and told her that Antigoni was not his type and he doesn’t find her attractive. That was really embarrassing what he did. Obviously sweetened her up because he thought the girls would be getting to pick.

A580Hojas · 25/06/2022 01:04

Tasha is being bratty as fuck towards Andrew! He's done nothing wrong - he keeps saying I hate to see you upset and he confronted both Luca and Dami about what they said about her, and yet she's got a face like a smacked arse when Charlie didn't pick her and is taking it all out on Andrew! Ffs. And crying to make everyone feel sorry for her. Not nice. I don't get the dislike for Andrew on this thread either.

A580Hojas · 25/06/2022 01:08

It's so predictable that Tasha is Charlie's favourite. Yawn.

Not sure what Davide is playing at. I don't think kissing Danica one day and then picking Antigone the next is going to win him many popularity points.

Luca and Gemma probably think they've got the win in the bag. I do hope not.

I think he has a damsel in distress complex. Where he feels he needs to rescue a girl, Tasha fits the bill because she’s hot then cold, very emotional and he plays the dependable/will always be there for her/knight that saves her from herself.

I think she’s beginning to feel trapped by it.

I feel like there’s a movie, same sort of thing. She keeps fucking it up but he sees past it blah blah. What am I thinking of?

This season is just the worse. The guys have the worse double standards.

Davide is obsessed with Ekin-Su he’s just tormenting her. He’s also obsessed with himself, he’s not funny, he’s a man child.

Luca and Dami think they have the best advice when in reality they just need to shut up. Luca is an absolute little bitch, along with Jacques - I can see right through him, he’s a typical rugby lad and the way he has spoken to Ekin just shows how much respect he has for women.

Nothing to say about Jay except he’s a weasel. Andrew - grow a pair. Charlie - no opinion as of yet.

All the girls except Ekin are pussyfooting around the men and it’s cringe.

I used to love this show but I have to say this season just seems a little toxic in many ways.

Yes! This

Definitely agree with this, I really don't know why he kissed her because before he did he looked bored rigid with the conversation. Then choosing Antigoné like that without having some sort of conversation with Danica before hand. He made it clear that he doesn't like her but in a really nasty way.
Comes across as one of those good looking blokes who think it's funny to put women down Hmm

Newpuppymummy · 25/06/2022 07:34

Agree Davide was very cruel last night. He looked like he was enjoying it too. poor Danica.

I don’t but Paige and Jacques. It seems too forced.

Tasha can’t believe Charlie didn’t pick her. She’s looking for an out but doesn’t want to look like the bad guy.

charlie isn’t it to ES at all. I think he did it to see how Tasha would react.

the preview of Sunday was dull. Not like the usual previews.

Yamyam13 · 25/06/2022 07:45

Firstly, I can't believe I'm saying this as I thought he was a proper tool when he first came in, but my favourite guy is now Jacques.
This week I've seen a different side to him. He's got a great combination of good fun banter plus he's shown emotional maturity & vulnerability that I find really attractive... I actually rated what he said to Ekin-Su - he just said what everyone was thinking.
And the way he handled the Jay and Paige situation was really refreshing, plus, he is right. If it's meant to be between he and Paige then they will end up together no matter who comes and interferes.
I like that confidence and security and I think it shows he's genuinely into her as it's not just about keeping in a couple to stay in the villa.

Ok: Tasha.
I think Luca & Dami are right. She isn't 100% into Andrew, infact I think she's slightly got the ick.
But the way they've got involved is a bit uncalled for as she hasn't done anything wrong.
It's what happens time and time again on Love Island and they are treating her like she's done something completely outrageous (Luca more).
BUT I think she's using this 'upsetting' situation as a way of justifying her 'unhappiness' and rocking the boat the with Andrew. She's overreacted in order to push him away.

Yamyam13 · 25/06/2022 07:53

Ekin-Su seems like nice person who means well but I think she's not all there...
She is so self aware, and I hate to say it, desperate that everything she says sounds overly intense so it sounds disingenuous & I think that makes people uncomfortable, especially the men, when she showers them with compliments or constantly bangs on about ONE good thing or conversation that happened or they had in common. Like how she keeps banging on about how Charlie and her laughed a lot on their date. I wouldnt be surprised if they had one small giggle but she's clinging onto that like her life depends on it (well her Love Island life does!)

Yamyam13 · 25/06/2022 07:57

And I think Charlie has done exactly what Jay did and used ES as a safe bet to stay in the villa. I feel sorry for her but she needs to just be less desperate and play it cool and just be normal and stop trying so hard!

vjg13 · 25/06/2022 08:12

Tasha looked so gutted when Charlie didn't pick her! Agree with Davide being vile over the Danica kiss, it was because he thought the girls would be picking. Felt really sorry for Danica and was surprised when Charlie picked Ekin Su.

Tasha definitely did a big performative "oh phew, what a relief, Andrew now gets to choose me".

ijustcouldntthinkofausername · 25/06/2022 09:22

I liked Davide but I didn't like how he played around with Danica. She seemed quite pleasantly surprised by that kiss and seemed giddy about it when telling the girls etc then he goes and picks Antigoni! This is playing with her feelings.
And I didn't like how she was just left there standing til last last night. She looked very vulnerable, kind of like a little girl too.
Jacques has really gone up in my estimation, seems genuine, mature and I liked how he reacted to the whole situation and the fact he said nice things about Danica too was nice.
Paige is not into Jay.
Andrew - I don't understand the hate? but each to their own. He seems like a nice lad and I genuinely think he's caught the feels for Tash.
Charlie - I think he comes across quite rude esp when talking with ES.
I actually like ES- she's hilarious. Annoying, but great for TV! I think she's so beautiful! She reminds me of Nicole shirzinger ?

A580Hojas · 25/06/2022 09:39

Just remembered something else that made me LOL. Ekin-Su reassuring Tasha that she had done absolutely nothing wrong and she was perfectly fine to spend time with as many boys as she liked, that's what they're all there for, she doesn't owe anything to Andrew etc. Erm, remember shouting at a tall Scottish lad name of Jay the night before ES?

Maves · 25/06/2022 09:42

No Nicole is much prettier! But anyway yy to Jaques actually like him now if we forget about him dating a 16 year old🙈 es giving advice is so fake I think she's trying to come across as something she's not but it does all sound like she's acting in those speeches.
I actually don't like Davide anymore after the danica thing. Him and es deserve each other both self centred dicks.

Yes first look was a strange one?

Maves · 25/06/2022 09:48

Mmm just seen an interview with remi apparently Jaques is a bully and was always on his case.

Yamyam13 · 25/06/2022 09:49

ES is really pretty (looked stunning in the red lippy a few nights ago) but when does it count if it's mostly fake? Personally I find it off putting and I think some men do too. I made my brother watch an episode with me and he said 'oh she's super hot' and when I showed him the before photo he was like, oh no, forget it then. Remember the before photo? Looks like a different person.

Where did you see the interview?
Wasn't Remi quite put out & unfriendly/awkward in his AfterSun interview? I wonder if he has a chip on his shoulder and has an axe to grind for not lasting long?

BiscoffSundae · 25/06/2022 09:55

I seen remi saying that, I believe it tbh, Jacques doesn’t come across as a nice person imo despite how much people like him on here.
