Bloody loving these puppets. My children have all gone outside to play on their bikes and are thus missing the best bit.

Actually looking at Twitter I think she was either apologising for
a) disregarding Northern Soul bus
b) not pointing out Gary Lineker
c) disregarding Bhangra dancers
d) talking too much so we couldn’t hear the music.

This bit is lovely - much better than the bloody buses!

It doesn’t half mean a lot to people, doesn’t it? A real change from the cynicism.

Sums up most British events/celebrations. Always a mix of sensible and serious to utterly bizarre. I quite like the mish mash.
