Wednesday BBC1 at 9pm for anyone interested. I really enjoyed the last series.

I liked Paul’s design much to my chagrin.
Banjo’s was nice enough too but none of them were strong.

Dean was the right choice to go. Paint it black and then accessorise it isn’t enough. And the paint to wear really quickly.

Am I the only one who thought that the beds would be really uncomfortable?

What made it worse was that Dean didn't even do the black well - you could still see bits of white in the grooves. If he'd completed it all well he might have scraped through.

But his tiling looked pretty good.

Looking at his Instagram, Dean's one design idea is basically……paint it black. His whole house is painted black. Inside and outside. So that was indeed what he was always going to do, if given free rein. I can see now why he was so twitchy with Fran's pale colours in the shop last week.

I think I said it last week but being a designer involves listening to what your client wants, not just forcing your personal design loves onto them.

I've just been flicking through his Instagram and it is all so dark - no light because of the shutters.

I did smile at the fact that his son has a themed name though - you have to admire his commitment to his love of black!

I really liked him though. I think it's a shame he's gone.

@SoupDragon I totally agree that interior designers should be listening to their client instead of imposing their taste on them.

Interesting that they didn't comment on what the owners thought of the huts. Possibly because they hated Dean's. Looking at their website it appears Dean's has been completely redone. Also Malcolm the Magpie and that ridiculous metal bath have been removed.

I remember Siobhan from the last series - she made it to the final but only really liked filling rooms with clutter and mad colours.

She couldn’t follow a brief unless it for with her style.

Dean was the same. Unless he could paint it black and add plants and gold bits he isn’t interested.

The corrugated sheets in the shower have gone too. Unsurprisingly!

I still love Banjo's and Paul's though.

They've changed Dean's completely haven't they? Nothing remains at all!

I thought the outside bath would have been used for dogs. But totally understand getting rid.

I am warming to him weirdly enough. He's very entertaining.

I think he's taking the piss out of himself.

The person who has done the photos for the glamping website needs to have a word with themselves. There are more pictures of toast than there are of the actual accommodation available!

The first image of Banjo's cabin is of s First Aid box FFS, and Amy's caravan has three pictures of the bathroom lock! They don't even show the bed in Fran's.

I love the fact they have a flushing toilet as if non-flushing was an alternative option.

As PP, Dean's ceiling colour, and lamps were gorgeous! You could see where his vision was - just let down on the execution.
