I’ve just seen this on Netflix, apparently the first 5 episodes are up and the next lot drop next week. Anyone watching? I loved the first season

I went through a journey with Shane. Absolutely hated him at the start, I said to DH I could imagine his voice being played in a 999 recording in court when he was on charges for threats to kill or something. Got a real manic vibe.

Then as the series progresses he really grew on me. I thought him and Natalie were great, was convinced they would get married. Then the baseball happened and the crazy came out in him again. I can only assume he got himself so worked up after messing up on the baseball that he then showed his manic side to Natalie by taking all his bad feeling out on her.
Fair play to her for dumping him.

Nick and Danielle - I cannot figure out which of them I believe. Does she start rows from nowhere? Or is he sneakily gaslighting her. I think they are both a bit crazy and as everyone else says, the relationship will not help her one bit. He really loves to be Queen Bee.
Also agree her insecurities probably stem from her mother, who seems to enjoy a beverage, but she also looks awesome and is very into her looks and I could really imagine her being a bit sore on Danielle growing up.
Nick's mother is equally horrible in different ways! Wonder has she ever smiled?

Also did not like Shake at all at the start but he grew on me as well. I don't really get all the hate towards him. He didn't fancy her and in the end they had left it too long to cross that line and were well into friendzone.
She is amazing though and she absolutely made the right choice. I don't think he will regret it as he is so superficial, but that doesn't make him bad. He will definitely marry a blonde model type.

I want Iyanna and Jarette to work but I am not so sure.

Sal and Mallory - was surprised he said No. I also get the feeling her was on there to further his career. His singing was so cringe.
Mal is very hard to read I think but I never got the impression she liked him much at all.

Shayna was nuts. No redeeming qualities. Far too mad about herself to care about anyone else.

What is it with Shane, I can’t put my finger on it? Somethings off.

There were rumours on the internet that Shayne was on steroids - and possibly other stuff too. Watching the reunion though, I'm wondering whether he doesn't just have a tic. He wouldn't have had access to drugs in the pods!

Also - does anyone else think that Iyanna is pregnant? I thought her face looked a bit puffy, more rounded. If so - it suits her!

Shake is such a twat and seems to be hated by everyone on the show, even the presenters! Also he was just generally rude and kept interrupting everyone and acting like what he had to say was oh so important. However, I do think he was right with what he said about Shayna saying yes to the proposal in order to stay on the show.

Just watched the reunion episode!

Shake 😡 I was disappointed that any sort of redeeming qualities in him seem to have disappeared or never existed in the first place and he just seems like an absolute arse being offensive under the guise of 'I just tell it like is is maaan! I'm just SO reeeal'. 🙄 I did also think at the wedding he was trying a little bit TOO hard to prove just how fine he was that Deepti dumped him. I think in reality he wanted to be the one to reject her and he actually thought she'd say yes to him - his ego was bruised when it didn't turn out that way! Vanessa (the host) seemed to particularly despise him, and while I think he is actually right in that you can't force an attraction to someone, he definitely was not on the right show to start with, with his attitude.

Sal and Mal, I think he was right that she never seemed that invested in him and it worked out for the best. I also think that thing 'he didn't see the point in discussing' was his ex or current at the time girlfriend and he knew discussing it would make him look really bad which it would

I totally agree about Nick and Vanessa, I'd forgotten they even existed until the reunion! I wish they were more involved too, like visiting the couples when they moved in together and checking in on them. I can imagine Vanessa having some girl on girl talk. I really like her, she doesn't just stick to the script and didn't mind putting Shake in his place!

Oh also Shaina's squinting (paired with a pout) bothers me too.

Think Nick and Danielle going to couples therapy was really interesting and shows how committed/serious they are about making it work which is great to see.

I'm half way through the reunion (baby didn't nap long enough yesterday) but the show is great.

Love how the Lachey's call Shake out! I would love to see all what we didn't see. I did see online that Shake said he played the villain. He knew he'd be portrayed as this to played up to the character.

I thought Natalie & Deeps handled themselves with such grace. Both seem like lovely people who deserve a man that appreciates them.

Shainia I could never quite put my finger on. If Christianity was so important to her I didn't see her discuss this in the pods or with Shayne but some of her behaviour wasn't really Christian....

Most disappointing thing about the reunion is where we're those metallic glasses that they had in their pods, in their homes, at the party on the beach 😂

I liked Shayne in the reunion genuinely believe he loves Natalie- the way they took ownership of their issues. It feels pretty authentic and if it were possible to work through it they could go the distance.

Paha! Yes she is channelling DT!! I think I expected her to be really snakey but she wasn’t. And she didn’t throw Shayne under the bus in saying they met up.

Natalie is the strongest woman I’ve seen on tv!! She really holds her line of clarity.. I won’t think they’ll get back together but I just wish they would!

Great show! Some very predictable outcomes especially Shake being an absolute tit...I bet he is getting advice from Nasser mafaus on how to become even more of an outspoken twat. I love that Shayne and Jarret gave Deepti the info about what Shake was saying about her. Given the production team will have seen a lot more of him than we did I don't think Deepti going first at the wedding and getting to reject him was an accident, I would like to think they decided yes, let's set this fucker up for a fall.

Iyanna looked so different with her braids it took me a few minutes to place her.

I felt awful for Natalie she looked pretty traumatised, but we didn't hear much from her, the airtime was all for Shayne, who was gurning like never before...

I felt like the guys got more time to speak than the girls , but that may just be the way ye conversations went back and forth.

Did we see any of Kyle and Deeps in the pods, I don't recall it, wonder if they might date. Fucking Shake 'I'll facilitate that' what a duck, they don't need your help or blessing 🤬

Final thought...Am I the only one who thought Lachey was pronounced like Lackee and not la chaay...

Mallory looks better with her hair curled. When it's straightened and styled she automatically seems stiffer. She clearly had instant ick with Sal. And given she doesn't seem to want the limelight, I can't work out why she tried so hard with him.

Agree on loving Shayne, Jarret and the girls warning Deepti about what Shake was saying. That was my favourite part of the show.

The girls all seem to be close, they were even nice to Shania. I think there was some sort of agreement not to shit on anyone (other than Shake) on TV.

I didn't like the way Shane was trying to get Natalie to take the blame for what he said in the fight. However, he did look so uncomfortable and had totally lost his cheeky spark.

Danielle looked really gorgeous.

I think couples counseling is pretty much the norm for couples getting married in America.

I saw a TikTok with Kyle sneakily showing a glimpse of Deeps in the background. Maybe that coupling has legs?

I agree that there's something off about Shayne. Do we know "the words" that he used during the argument were? It's clear that he really hurt Natalie.

The new "The Ultimatum" looks drama-filled...
