I missed the end of the match last night too - I should have had more faith and kept watching
I've been reading everyone is up in arms about Osaka but from what I saw it was just some typical jeering not great but just the usual - or did I miss something?

I think Naomi is an over-thinker but if one person was continuously heckling her they should have been removed.

It's hard to judge without seeing the incident, or indeed, being the recipient of the heckling,

The consensus seems to be that heckling (it wasn't bad or racist apparently) is part of sport. I do feel for Naomi though, she seems so fragile. I can't help thinking maybe tennis just isn't for her.

kazza if Rafa is going to lose to anyone, I don't mind it being Dan. And in all honesty, going off the match the other day- Dan stands a very good chance, unless Rafa pulls his orange socks up. It started well and then was nearly a total disaster. .
Pleased for Harriet- a decent run here will be great for her.

The height difference in the Isner/Diego match will most likely be the first thing any of the commentators bring up. And then every 5 minutes til the end of the match.

Casper Ruud is playing Kyrgios tonight- this is the first time they've played since the infamous Rome match, 3 years ago, where Nick threw the chair. And then decided he hated clay- and started a feud with a player who had not even done anything to him.

Casper definitely thinks he's an idiot, and said so.

At the moment - it's showing 19.20 as the start time for the Rafa/Dan match. Depends on the match before it, I guess, it might be a bit later- but hopefully early enough for me to watch (and not nod off).

If you're going to have a feud at least make it funny like Daniil and Stef

Jane exactly- I think from Casper's point of view, he sees Nick for the twerp he is, and the fact he has probably achieved more in the last couple of years than Kyrgios has in his career, will be the last laugh.

Daniil is a proper panto villain- Nick doesn't really have much of sense of humour. Well, he thinks he's funny, he just isn't.

Ooh, I missed the Dick doubles result! That's cheered me up (even though it meant Isner won!). I see Stef and Feliciano are continuing their successful partnership. I do like Feli

Fizzy Rafa is on after Daniil, yes. I'm not able to watch at the moment, but just saw that it had gone to a 3rd set- typical. The Alcaraz/RBA match was over much quicker- 6-2 6-0

And the poo shorts really, really were a terrible mistake. I can't believe no-one saw an issue with them, at any point during the design phase .
