He seems to be doing some kind of TV work but I can't figure out what it is from his posts.

We we were supposed to go away for the weekend - had to turn back because the motorway was closed due to an overturned lorry - hope that everyone is safe in the storm

That's annoying Fizzy. Hopefully lorry driver is ok. The storm didn't affect us much here but it's often the case when there's an alert. We get bad storms when there isn't a word about it!

Our bathroom/kitchen has just flooded because of a leaking pipe. I am not a happy bunny. and a bit wet

My mum's friend lives in Cornwall- she sent a picture of the flats opposite with the roof ripped off. It's all a bit scary out there (it's been relatively calm here- but I think we are somewhere in between all the bad bits - though I have been watching the planes coming into the airport, and not envied anyone on them.

The thought of Rafa in his sleeveless top cheers me up.

And Edberg was pointless! - he beat Stich beat in 1991 (the year he won Wimbledon, which is how they won) in the semi final. Ive never forgiven him. IIrc- Stefan lost without losing serve. .

Jane after covid and all the lost revenue- I imagine they will do everything they can to get the 02 open again.
If not, I'm not sure what venue could be used instead - it's indoors, isn't it, the Laver Cup?

Maybe Wimbledon would let them hold it there?

I thought they could just repair the O2 roof with a couple of plastic bags but think it’s a bit more complicated than that! It could take a few months to repair but hopefully will be ok for Laver cup in September

Apparently another storm is on the way …

Fizzy there has been quite a bit going on- Monpelier, Doha, Rio, Delray Beach.

Starting tomorrow, it's Dubai and Acapulco - which is significant, because Djok is allowed to play in Dubai, and Daniil is playing in Acapulco (as is Rafa).

Maths ove points dropping/different scenarios about who wins or loses which round- Medvedev could take over the number 1 spot this week. Which will irritate Djok further even though he's now reached something like 360 weeks at the top spot.

I'm sick of storms- we have not had a lot in the way of really big winds/damage, but the rain is biblical. .

We've got severe flood warnings for nearby- which funnily enough, have just been mentioned on the news .

We seem to have rain on one side and snow the other! Horrible blustery winds. Ugh. Some of my daffodils are out so that's good. I don't know how they survive the winds.

I don't know how the daffs survive at all my dog is always weeing on them .

We sleet yesterday, I was trying to walk the dog. He's recovering fro surgery, and I am still not his favourite person, so the rubbish weather made him even grumpier.
