I didn't find it as interesting as I thought I would, it didn't grip me. How bizarre that she doesn't remember anything. I like Sheridan Smith but thought she looked dreadful in that role tonight and it is unlike me to pay too much attention to how people look.

I think that's clear to everyone. You don't have to be a teacher to know she's being inappropriate. That's kind of the point of the show

They are in gcse year. He could easily be 15. She must be mid to late 30s. But whatever age she is in a position of authority.
But he got into the club and was drinking

The above was my initial question which I asked lazymum99. She is a teacher and my question was aimed at a teacher as they would only have the answer to my question or perhaps someone that works in a school.

Hmm, it was blurry in the toilets true but going into the toilet together even without sex is entirely inappropriate and would likely lead to be struck off (where I am) even if not a police matter.
Perhaps she was drugged/Kyle is the poison email sender/ clutching a straws here!

It's pointless to ask if a teacher would act like that - there are teachers who get sacked and who are guilty of crimes same as in any other job - if you mean would it be viewed as acceptable to act like that, no. Touching an injured pupil possibly, to help them.

I can imagine there are a lot of RL teachers watching this and thinking WTAF?! 🤦‍♀️
I can't bear to watch it as I'll just scream at the TV how unrealistic it is. I'm also an English teacher.

Secondly, I cant stand SS: she totally loves herself.

I'm wondering if it was originally going to be a programme about a state school, but then they decided it would be easier to socially distance in a huge school, so they called it a private school with Kyle as a scholarship boy.

I was really looking forward to this but not massively impressed. Maybe it’ll get better. Why was her solicitor so shit? And so far although I’m only a primary school teacher, I can see it’s quite unrealistic of school life.
