However the biggest turnaround for me was the complete character change of her dad ... episode 4 he's crying looking at a pic of the dead mum and being kind to SS , all throughout before he was portrayed as horrible, always disappointed , possibly the reason the mum wanted to not be around 🤷‍♀️

The teacher at the gym was grim. I wanted to punch him and I'm not a violent person at all 😂
Pauline behind a curtain .. a random lorry down a very quite road , it was just a bizarre ending.

Yes ... a bribe of £200 is a very poor motive. Again, lazy plotting. It would have been much better as pp said if Brian had turned out to be his estranged father or grandfather.

Jenna didn't seem baffled as to why Pauline was in a cupboard, maybe it was a regular occurrence 🤷

It was bizarre. I liked it up to episode four , then it went all woo.
I do like SS , but her character in this was deeply flawed and anyone wouldn't have just stayed on the sex offenders register just to spare him!

To be fair @PrincessScarlett the appalling script wasn’t written by SS! (Was it? Maybe it was! My point though being that it wasn’t ‘her’ drama. She wasn’t very believable in it at all but I’ve seen her in something else before and thought she was good!)

No, the script wasn't Sheridan's fault, agree.

I thought she was OK in the role, apart from too much huffing and puffing. The character as written wasn't particularly believable and certainly not very likeable, but I don't think you can blame the actor for that.

Ok seen and caught up with thread

She wasn’t in a cupboard. She was in her kitchen which had a curtain pulled over it

Or least had a table

It was good till the end

It was revenge

But if he hadn’t had sex with her, if waiting till she was 16 then why did he go to prison

Or did he sleep with her

Assuming revenge took a while as he was in prison

SS should have gone to the police. They would have tracked down the texts and known the truth

Also kyles mum should have made him go to the police plus the teacher izzys mum

They both destroyed ss life and career

Pauline and her soul mate 🙄

Almost felt sorry for her but even though she still knew what she had done to Jenna she wouldn’t leave him

I understood why they filmed in Hungary due to funding/expense but it made me laugh when the location they were in was obviously Hungary, then at the end they suddenly showed Bradford scenes so we'd all think it had all been in Bradford all along.

They might as well have gone the whole hog and spoke in Hungarian for all the sense it made.
And why did Pauline stay quiet when she was behind the curtain? In fact why was she hiding behind a curtains at all?! Confused

The curtains reminded me of a house on one of these property programmes on ch 4 in France that had a kitchen where the cupboards were all behind bright striped red curtains! It Looked like a Punch and Judy tent. It was a bit odd
Making Brian Kyle's g/ dad or something might have made more sense , but no , none of it made sense at the end
Still, SS is good at breathing , we know this much! She was good in ' four lives' , can recommend that , but it's a tough watch.

@Blondeshavemorefun Brian went to prison even though he waited until she was 16 to have sex with her because he still groomed her when she was under age and that is an offence. Plus he was in a position of authority as her teacher.

Did anyone think that Ss got more attractive as the episodes went on? At the start she looked quite rough and a lot heavier than I've seen her before, but by the end she looked fabulous!
Maybe the excessive drinking chaotic lifestyle and lack of sleep had her looking dog rough

Once all this started , she seemed to stop drinking - maybe that helped her look better

Or maybe the whole thing was just a load of shite
