The ending made her look well dodgy though. I think she probably should stay on the list, stalking Kyle soft focus and flirty.

It's lazy plotting to have the one who 'dunnit' not appear until practically the last episode. Of course no one is going to be able to work it out because, despite receiving malicious emails and so on for some time, the one person who'd have an enormous grudge against Jenna has never been mentioned by her in the investigation - the viewer doesn't know he exists.

And of course she'd remember Brian running off with a pupil. There was a case a while ago where this happened - possibly about 12 years ago - absolutely nothing to do with me but I remember some details because it was big news - vaguely what the teacher and pupil looked like, the fact they went on a ferry to France and he threw his phone overboard, the fact he'd only just got married when it happened. Of course you'd remember it in detail if it was your own school, especially if you'd been the one to report it.

I never want to watch anything her SS I'm it again,she's a shocking TV actress. She is probably excellent on the stage buy dear God she over acted everything in this,it was truly dreadful. I kept watching and waiting for it to her better and it got WORSE ConfusedGrin

Ultimately I think it was about ‘forbidden love’. He claimed to have loved the girl and was waiting until she was 16. Likewise the way SS was looking at Kyle at the end was I think meant to look like ‘forbidden love’. The w at she gazed at him, the way her hand caressed his. And she massively let him off the hook. She also hinted early she wanted to have had sex with him too.

The bit at the end where she caressed Kyle's hand was a bit odd and inappropriate but I don't think Jenna ever loved Kyle in a sexual way. She was just one of those teachers that wants to be the students' best friend and the point was to show that there is a very thin line between being professional and being inappropriate.

I thought the head teacher in the gym was a bit grim lecturing Jenna about keeping a professional distance but then implying he'd noticed how "mature" some of the girls are and that he'd not acted on any impulses because he's professional.

Utter bilge. All of it. Plot, script, direction, acting. And that house with Pauline in the cupboard looked like no house anywhere in the UK has ever looked.

Everyone associated with this pile of dross should be thoroughly ashamed.

It was filmed in Hungary - I thought the Dads house entrance looked a bit European and the Brian's place at the final scene.

It was filmed in Budapest which is odd! Last episode a total let down. Yeah the guy who used to be in Emmerdale did nothing ...no idea why he was in it. SS in another programme No Return starting soon ...

SS really overdid the face pulling and sighing. I particularly like her thinking face, definitely from the Joey Tribbiani school of acting.
So many of these dramas start out good and then totally lose the plot after the second episode.

And the photocopy of the passport the school sent her for Brian was a photo of him at the age he was now not of the age he was when he started teaching there. Was the whole show produced by the work experience girl?

No way would I stay on the sex offenders register to avoid causing trouble for the boy who put me there! Shock Kyle didn't even have the excuse that the man he did it for was his dad or lover.
No one in their right mind would plead guilty to a child sex abuse offence!!! And they certainly wouldn't not go to the Police and present new evidence to show they were guilty. If she had reported Kyle, he was 15 and had been groomed. There was a lot of mitigation for him especially if she was backing him up. The impact on his life would be significantly less than it would have been for her. Ridiculous and as a previous poster said I think we all deserve an apology for dealing with this drivel.

Also wasn't she at one point wandering round the corridors of her old school? I don't know of any school these days where you could just wander in and certainly not her a registered sex offender.

Also at the end of episode 2 didn't she ring her solicitor when she found some evidence that pointed to Kyle lying to tell her that yet we never saw the solicitor again. It would have flowed better if she'd gone to the solicitor who'd handed her all the evidence and told her to make her own enquiries (although I'm not sure solicitors would be able to do that). I couldn't understand how she had all those cctv memory sticks and stuff.

Also as previously said how would she not remember reporting a colleague for inappropriate behaviour with a pupil?!

They mentioned (once!) that Jenna's Mum was bipolar. Was that to insinuate that Jenna's maybe too. And Jenna's stalking of Kyle!!! Yuck yuck yuck.

Why was it filmed in Budapest. The tower blocks didn’t look very UK. So very weird.

SS acting is awful.

It was like the last episode was written by someone else in a lunch break.

Pauline didn’t seem very bright, yet she worked in a school. Was she a teacher? Why was she in a random cupboard?

On My5 it says it’s “series 1” let’s hope series 2 doesn’t get commissioned.

I wasn't going to watch it because it was on Channel 5 but I like Sheridan Smith and thought if she was in it, maybe it wouldn't be that bad Hmm.
What an absolute pile of shite.
I lost it at Pauline sitting in that cupboard behind the curtain, wtf was that?! 🤣

How the hell did Brian get to Kyle so fast to make him wanna lie like that , would be more credible if he had turned out to be his grandad ! The hammer ... maybe he was a builder now and en route to a job as he clearly had no bottle to hammer her lol & all them years being bitter to just step in front of a lorry 🙈 and the end , all the pouting and happy to see Kyle ... the kid who ruined your life , ended your career , put you in the sex offenders register ... but it's all good , hold his hand , wish him well ... what's a little peadophile title amongst friends 🤦‍♀️
