Just starting a thread for tonight's QT.

What with Boris Johnson and Andrew's "partying", this may get very heated

The Met can't investigate the Downing St scandals as Met officers, with a duty to prevent law breaking AND a duty to protect the bunch of poltroons that govern us, could not do both. So it's a cleft stick. It can't do anything without compromising the government, unthinkable, or compromising its own impeccable reputation. Cough. No wins.

I think the question about if unvaccinated should only receive SSP rather than the company's normal sick pay is interesting.

I haven't really formed an opinion on this as I can see both sides. So I'm interested in hearing the panels thoughts

No one is mentioning the danger of how many non vaccinated NHS staff will leave..

Probably the fact that their own officers are stationed inside number 10 and it will draw attention to wtf were they (not) doing

I did read about the sweets and I thought the same as they women in the audience.

Sweet and food manufacturers change the name of thier products for all sorts reasons. If they take on board a campaign from someone who asked for the name to be changed, because the term has disabilities connotations, that's OK.
