Right - this is totally out there and based on two things only: the hammer and the fact that and APJ1's belief Panda is Ms Imbruglia. What if it's actually Kylie?

I'd say that voice is more likely to be Dannii's if it belongs to a Minogue but both sisters are back home in Australia now, whereas Natalie lives in the UK. I'd love to be surprised though, or as the young people say, SHOOK!

If something gets ripped up at any point it will definitely be Natalie I. I agree the comedy badge is too important to overlook.

No way is poodle Brian may, if you listen to the voice it's a young/middle aged man. You can always tell an older voice. I wish the Keane guy was more famous but meh. He's a good performer.

Firework to me sounds like a faded singer from a 90/2000s girl band, someone who can sing but never had to be on their own and is now in middle age.

Are we assuming Robbie Fowler for doughnuts based on the bird clue?

Rockhopper looking like Michelle williams although that's kind of boring since she's already done the US version. Her voice was a bit ropey to start with but I think she's warming up...

Not that I am fixated on cracking Firework's identity at all hours of the day but I think I've finally got it! One of my earlier guesses - Hayley Tammadon. Too early in the morning to show my working out zzz.

I in theory agree about Brian May's age but the YouTube clip I posted is very recent (obviously it has been mixed and remastered etc) but his voice sounds very lovely and not at all 'Rod, you can't sing any more. Please desist' ish.

Oh Hayley Tamadon is a good shout for Firework - they did ice skates for a clue and she's bang in their target casting range.

I couldn’t be more certain that Doughnuts is Michael Owen particularly given some of the earlier more cryptic clues, which I don’t usually pick up on.

I think I'm convinced now on JS for Panda. Also definitely think Firework is Michelle Keegan - DH and I turned to each other and said her name as soon as she started singing on the first show and now I can't hear anyone else. I can make most clues fit too.

I think Tom Chaplin is the right balance of obscure yet known "enough" for this show. I can't imagine he'll win. It's engineered that way - they'll want someone who is better known. He's the Morten Harket of this series. I read an interview in advance of this series starting which said that Morten's unmasking has been a bit embarrassing as neither Joel nor half the panel knew who he was, yet to a certain demographic he's a superstar! They did allude to the fact that they had others likely to be in this position in this series.

Speaking of Morten and remembering his "Aha, Aha, aaa-haaa" clue, I'll be keeping an ear out for Poodle saying that he's really KEEN to do this show. Mind you, if a load of badgers turn up, I might switch my allegiance back to Brian May.

Will Young was one and perhaps because he was on my list and in my mind, I recognised his voice very early on. The other was Heather Small but despite being on my list, I did not get her at all and was a surprised as anyone when she was unmasked.

When Panda first walked onto the stage in ep1 her look and demeanour put me immediately in mind of Kathy Burke. I was so convinced that as soon as she started singing I was gutted as its clearly not

I made a list like that too! Hence why I wrongly jumped on Nelly Furtado for Panda. It was her rap on the first song (Levitating by Dua Lipa) which then 'confirmed ' it for me...until I found out that's actually part of the original track and not just something she decided to do! Oops.

My list also had Robyn, which one of the panel has now guessed, albeit incorrectly, for Robyn. Do I get a point just for a name being mentioned? Haha When I was writing the list, I looked at who had an upcoming tour to promote and saw Will Young did but for some reason I didn't decide to add him to my names. Gah!

Such dedication, making lists of who might appear on the show! It does make my Saturday night though, perfect telly for this time of year.

Yes about Morten last year. It was so obviously him. My 30 year old colleague hadn't a clue and only vaguely knew who he was.

Hayley was in one of the soaps..perhaps emmerdale? I don't know of her for anything else(except dancing on ice) is she well known enough!?

I remember Firework saying she used to light up the street with a different flash or something and people saying that could mean Corrie.

What if it meant camera flashes, like getting papped?

Hayley is a former Emmerdale actress and was also in Coronation Street for a short time. Some time in between she was a winner of Dancing on Ice. Nowadays she's just in ITV's pile of people to retrieve whenever they're making a 'Celebrity...' show.

Did anyone see Russell Watson on GMB this morning?

They asked him if he was TC and he said no but he knows for sure it’s Aled because after the second song he could recognise the voice.

I just can’t go with it…..I mean like, I can hear it but the clues don’t work. If I was to have a party and wanted to get it started Aled Jones would be the last person I would think of and he’s hardly a rule breaker.
Wait..breaking rules what if that means Guinness records?
