They came back from Florida and send the kids straight to school the next day. Those kids must be absolutely jetlagged.

If they didn’t sent them the day they were back they would be slated

Yeah, I'd say the problem was that they took them in term time to start with. Once they'd done that, they were damned if they sent them back immediately, and damned if they kept them off an extra day.

Poor Archie having missed a week of reception. All the other DC will know the ropes, know their way around, have their friends
etc already. Still Sue got another holiday so it's all worth it right?!!

Yes we used to take the kids out of school around May time, never in the first week of a new year though and certainly not for a DC just starting school. Poor thing.

They blocked me after I questioned (again) why they sell stories to a rag of a tabloid while claiming to be massive LFC fans.

They can't read a room. They're thick. They exploit their kids. They told me that I'm clearly stupid.

It's amazing she manages to find all this time to scour the internet. She needs to put her phone/camera down and start giving her brood some individual attention instead of throwing money at them. 🤦‍♀️😔

Millie, a bakers daughter, at age 21 just asked what sour dough bread is and if it's sour 😂

LOL @Harrystylestutu nothing changes! I remember in one of the early KAC episodes, Noel the master baker making the kids' packed lunches from cheap white supermarket bread.

Oh no, you think they'd have freshly baked bread. How did Noel ever get into the bakery business, do we know when/how he trained? He doesn't seem the type to start his own business especially when he was busy getting a child up the duff.

I can't remember fully and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he is time served baker, I think he saw an opportunity to buy/lease a pie shop and learned the recipes for the pies and whilst he's maybe learned a bit of cooking in order to make some different fillings, i don't think he has ever branched into other bakery items. He possibly just assembled (from bought in pastry and fillings) initially. I'm sure I read/watched all this somewhere.

Neither of them seem to be keen cooks from what I've seen.

Don't get me wrong, my DC were very familiar with food from the freezer but DH and I both worked full time and the DC did loads of activities so there wasn't always the time or energy for fresh home cooked delicacies every day.

I would cook at the weekends and freeze extras though and now they are adults and I'm not running around after them every evening, I really enjoy cooking.

I'm sure as a SAHM i'd have made more effort on the food and less than she seems to spend on laundry and housework.

Just read the pie company has been given a food rating of 1....needs considerable improvement 🤢

I saw the whole report. It's for the bakery faradays not the new shop. It's disgusting! Said workers had open sores and weeping cuts on their hands with no handwash, plasters or gloves. Disinfectant needed restocking, ham was opened and left out in a carrier bag, staff had little knowledge of allergens, loose sausages in the freezer, flies were viewed while there, dirty rags in food prep areas etc 😷

They've also taken the customer comments off the pie shop page.

So have they got 2 shops?

They have a shop that they've always had, and they recently opened a unit on an industrial estate (presumably for the online orders).
