Can anyone explain how Joe's replacement was chosen? She seemed to have little personality or chemistry with anyone.

I love sewing bee but am hating this. The celebrities are awful and not people I recognise and no idea who Sarah Pascoe is. All the OTT "I can't do this" is grating

The vicar is awful. Why is she famous?

The vicar is famous primarily from Gogglebox. That was her springboard. I find her shallow and lacking in inspiration. She was on Pilgrimage a few years ago, and seemed the least connected with the process, so inarticulate. Same with Winter Walks. But perhaps that's the point, safe, cuddly C of E.

Watching it now and really dislike the smug bloke who couldn't accept his outfit wasn't actually fancy dress and was boring

She hasn't been, for a few years. She and her husband used to be.

Kate Bottley presents a show on Radio 2 on a Sunday morning. I can't bear her, she's basically got it through being a Reverend as it's the Sunday morning slot, but has no presenting skills other than loving the sound of her own voice - at length. She doesn't even come over as having any affinity with Christianity. She's popping up.everywhere at the minute - Sewing Bee, The Wheel, today's Weakest Link. I have to switch off when I see her.

I hate gogglebox. Such a stupid programme. I have seen bits of it and was unfortunate enough to see Kate in it.

I have also seen her on The Wheel and Steph's Packed Lunch. She is so full of herself it is untrue

I was a bit worried about Esme, her speech seemed a bit laboured, and she didn’t look well.

I bet Liza Tarbuck can sew. She was on Grayson Perry's Art Club and she's definitely crafty. I'd love her to do it.

I see the Great Pottery Showdown is back in January and Ellie Taylor is the new host. Is there some sort of unwritten law that they have to pick from the same small pool of comedians? (although I don't mind Ellie T, actually).

I love Liza and she could be on every celeb competition, reality show and every advert.

And she could read the news as well. But how I wish she could do ‘the Bee’.

I don’t mind Ellie T but they should have taken back Sara.

I get the right hump. That said, there is a small part of me thankful they haven’t got that smug giggling pair from this morning. They seem to be on everything bastart else.

I can concur. Friend used to work in a bar near to Coronation Street studios. Lots of celebs went in but she had a list of the awful ones and Anthony Cotton was right up there. Used to speak to them like they were something he trod in and used to click his fingers at them when he wanted attention.

A couple of acquaintances of mine are in her congregation.

Apparently she is not well liked - they consider her too gimmicky (she rides a bike up the central aisle - stuff like that.).

They just want a vicar who will lead a service and deliver a cracking sermon, and she focuses on her TV career and being "quirky".

Can't stand Anthony Cotton - he's an unpleasant little chap.

Love Liza Tarbuck, and like Anneka Rice. I haven't washed the show yet - am going to watch it on catch-up when I get the chance.
