I’m three episodes in, and I’m like “meh”
Not very funny and depressing…
Hate all the “box ticking “ it’s overtaking the show
Charlottes daughter can’t just be a tom boy ( which in itself would be funny ) she has to be -whatever they were saying? Transgender?
3 min “comedy sketch” about being Bi….?
Charlotte and Stanford don’t like each other?
Big wanking ..( eew)
Steve just going “eh? What?”
Carrie totally ignoring Charlottes warning about Miranda’s drinking?
Miranda’s Prof saying she was a White Saviour when trying to point out to the guard he was being unreasonable?
Everyone mentioning their age every scene?
Why would Carrie be putting herself through the embarrassment of a vulgar podcast when she’s clearly retired writing and married to a millionaire?

I’m debating whether to just imagine them, all running home from the desert where my imagination left left after SATC2 …

I haven't enjoyed any of Charlottes story lines, she is portrayed even more as a Park Avenue Pollyanna.

I have - I like Charlotte. She’s a good friend and she’s a good mother. And she has substance - the art discussion proved that

This episode was so disjointed and random. What the hell was the deal with the tampon story? I had to scan through those scenes as I couldn't cope with Lilly's manic screaming and overacting. Absolutely bizarre. What was the point of it??

It strikes me as being for younger audience who has watched SATC as box sets well after it came out, and this is what they 'hope' older women will be like when it happens to them in 30 yrs........

I like Charlotte too, she's always been a Park Avenue Pollyanna (I think Carrie even calls her that once in SATC). No way is she the kind of Mum who would let her kid muddle through with tampons, she's the type to helicopter parent everything (not saying thats a good thing). No wonder Lily didn't know what to do. Of all the original cast she's the one who doesn't seem to have deviated from who she was in SATC. She's capable of some real strength though - the miscarriage scene in SATC is my absolute fave of hers and I wonder if Harry's suspected illness might rise similar fire in her.

The series has been far too rushed in subject matter for me which is a shame. I'd almost forgotten Big died at the beginning by this point.

I wonder how the episodes would have been if his flashback scenes hadn’t been cut. Would they have changed at all - I know the last one has done.

I liked Carrie’s Paris dress in today’s episode but can’t think of anything else I enjoyed. I just don’t buy Miranda and Che, especially her giving up her prestigious internship, and her NY life. I’m glad it’s over.

I was bang on with my prediction about Carrie and her hot sound guy.

Che is most bearable when they are singing.

I guess they couldn't have any more of Big with the recent revelations.

He is ridiculously good looking isn't he, fair play to her I say. I have warmed considerably to this new iteration of Carrie.

The whole Miranda Che thing is just not remotely credible and she's gone from being my favourite character to being intensely irritating. If Cynthia Nixon she is trying to sell her own personal journey as aspirational, she's doing an apalling job of it.

I never liked Carrie much in the original but she was a lot better in these ones. Still selfish but at least this time there was a reason. Miranda and Che however were unbearable! Che was right when commenting that they were a narcissist. The ending seemed a bit shove it all into the last episode and not brilliantly well.

I also thought there were so many gaps in the storytelling. Doesn't Brady have any opinions abt his mom dumping his dad after 20 years? He is all smiley and nonchalant. It's like they forgot to fill in the gaps.

I don't think they forgot anything. This is Cynthia's narrative and there will be no exploration of the pain and devastation actions such as Miranda's would cause in RL. It's all about Miranda/Cynthia. I'm disgusted by her and her storyline. Never thought I'd feel sorry for SJP either but I do wonder how she must feel to see the bonfire CN has reduced her reboot to.

I didn't mind this episode. Agree the Miranda story is so poorly fleshed out. A bit of sad Steve and that's it.

For a big guy Big didn't make much ash?My mum was tiny but her ashes would have filled three of those handbags.

I have recently re-watched all 6 series and the two films

Film 1 was not as bad as I remember
Film 2 was awful and the opposite of woke

What they did to Samantha in that film is unforgivable. No wonder she won't return

The new series is not a patch on the old programme

Miranda didnt ever seem like somebody who would be impressed by such ostentatious behaviour. More repulsed

so bizarre, maybe just a way to shoehorn in some Sara Ramriz singing? is that not why they had the musical greys anatomy episode? Sara m won a Tony before Greys.
