I'm still trying to fill the tennis void- kept up with the scores in Rennes. Andy lost yesterday, so that puts him back a bit.

My mum, sister and niece are off to Mallorca in a couple of weeks. My mum hasn't been away for a while- this is her 70th birthday present to herself - her birthday was in January- but she can't get her head around the rules regarding tests and stuff and is beginning to wonder if it's worth the aggro.

If you’re double vaxxed it’s easy to get into Spain - you just need to fill in an online Spanish health form. To get back into the uk you have to do a test within the 72 hours before you fly, complete an online passenger locator form and then do a PCR test 2 days after your return - this could all change soon though who knows!

We’re about to do our tests to come home - fingers crossed! We’ve had a nice time but don’t want to stay any longer than necessary! It does seem like a faff but not too bad once you get your head round it I suppose

I see they're gathered in Boston for the Laver Cup. Do we think Medvedev and Tsitsipas will be cheering each other on or secretly rooting for their opponent

I saw a picture of the two teams all lines up, on the ATP site.

The thing that struck me was both teams seem to be wearing dark suits- but Isner and Opelka are in much lighter grey.
Do you think they couldn't get dark ones in their size, or they just didn't get the memo? .

(In a different picture, Opelka's jacket looks like it was meant for Diego ).

Isner and Opelka had to do some emergency shopping at Big and Tall and their suits still don’t fit!

I saw the team photos earlier and Diego looks like he's been shrunk (sorry Diego!). Even Mac is (almost) towering over him
