I see Tommy Paul beat Shapo in Stockholm- it's a whopper of trophy, a big round globe looking thing on a stand. .

Rafa has also won a fancy prize. I have no idea what for!

And I am glad to see he has nice black shoes. DS got a suit for his graduation and I told him to get black shoes to match and he came home with brown

I have just seen this- it looks like something one of my kids might have made in school- and I would have had to put it on the side for a few weeks before accidentally losing it .

(Like the near life size papier mache giraffe ds bought home from pre-school that he didn't even make! - it was just something he liked in the classroom. 6 months I was stuck with that monstrosity)

It's colourful . But no, I don't know what it's for, but Rafa seems happy to get it .

Oh blimey- lads and shoes! Ds got a new suit a few months ago. Then he didn't need it for ages. He is very skinny- he decided his Doc Martens would be ok with it.

I had to tell him they really wouldn't go. He realised that (almost too late) and made an 11th hour trip to a local shoe shop to get some cheap shoes just for the interview he was going to.

Suit and docs sounds cool to me but then I was a fan of King in the 80's

Jane they would have been ok, but he just looked like a bean pole, and the boots have seen better days . Didn't really go with the suit .

Carlos is doing well- I think he's probably got this, unless Seb makes a late comeback.

King- that is a blast from the past.

I get confused when there is no advantage point - even though it happens in doubles a lot.

I don't like no-ad tennis but DS1 thinks it's much better. Youngsters!

I haven’t watched any if the Next Gen tournament - I do like Alcaraz - I’d forgotten that he lost to Rafa on his 18th birthday.

Yes Stef and Sascha etc are all grown up now (well sort of!)

Hmm a choice between watching The Wheel and Michael McIntyre- that’s a tough one - I’m watching strictly this year - I usually watch it but for some reason I didn’t watch it last year (don’t know why - there wasn’t much else to do! )

I saw a bit of her match the other day. Everything was so colourful it looked a bit unreal in the bright sunshine. The court was a pinky/purpley colour!
